Description: New Caross is roughly twenty-eight square miles in size featuring thick walls seven-hundred feet (two-hundred and thirteen meters) high and three-hundred feet (thirty meters) in width. The inside is comprised of many crude dilapidated structures that act as housing for the imprisoned Togorians forced to dwell within, and the only well-designed structures are the guard towers and shielded barracks of the Imperial soldiers ordained to keep a watchful eye over the starving occupants of New Caross. The barracks and watch towers are equipped with automated wall-mounted repeating turrets that are programmed to target any life form without an Imperial ID that comes within thirty meters of the perimeter, and within the tower itself is a life-form scanner that syncs up with the other towers and barracks to form a grid that ensures any and all Togorians within New Caross are monitored in one way or another.
A command tower nine-hundred feet (two-hundred and seventy-four meters) tall juts from the northernmost wall of New Caross, and is the central hub for all other surveillance and weapon systems down at the city's street level. A Star Destroyer remains anchored in orbit ready and willing to commence an orbital bombardment of New Caross should an event transpire that threatens to overwhelm the command center, acting a fail safe to thwart against any freedom fighters or Republic/Alliance agents seeking to free the Togorians from their destined imprisonment and execution.
History: Many years ago the Sith Lord Kaine Zambrano, and his affiliate Darth Hauntruss, ravaged the world of Togoria, sacrificing thousands upon thousands of Togorians so that their blood and flesh could be harvested for some malignant Dark Side ritual meant to embolden Hauntruss' physical form with renewed youth and vitality. Several years later Kaine Zambrano returned to lay waste to the upstart Togorians, who had harbored anti-Imperial sentiments for hundreds of years and had threatened to aid the encroaching Republic and Mandalorians as war loomed on the horizon. Dozens of warships descended upon Togoria, and legions of soldiers were deployed to enslave and outright murder any Togorians they could round up.
Massive death armies roamed across the surface of Togoria, putting entire settlements to the torch and sparing none they came across. Men, women, and children were all cut down like animals, their bodies left to rot or be consumed by the infernos that set their homes ablaze. In the end, once Kaine had gotten his fill for butchery, those Togorians that had been enslaved were loaded up into massive galleys until their hulls were ready to burst while the warships in the atmosphere moved into position within the planet's lower atmosphere. And then the bombs began to fall like hellish raindrops, scorching the earth and wiping away any and all life caught within the blast radius. The entire planet was subject to this method of saturation fire-bombing, reducing the once green world to a smoldering husk of brown and maroon.
But the then Emperor of the Sith was not done just yet, and he had his minions construct towering foundries meant to harvest the resources uncovered by his bombing. He then sent those enslave Togorians to work as slave labor, forcing them to further devastate their already ruined world. However; when the Republic and Mandalorian Clans banded together to dismantle the Empire they set the Togorians free and destroyed those foul spires of oppression and hate. But the Togorians that remained, only a scant couple hundreds of thousands, were left with a world besmirched by war and the Dark Side of the Force, yet they persevered and began to rebuild.
That was until the Sith Empire invaded once more, and Kaine Zambrano returned under a new name: Darth Vornskr, alongside his fiendish apprentice, [member="Darth Prazutis"].
Caross, perhaps the only real rebuild settlement on Togoria, was laid to waste; its homes smashed and its citizens defiled and murdered. The Republic, the self-proclaimed valiant defenders of justice and the light, were unable to stem the tide of darkness that came to swallow Togoria, and they were forced to flee. The Togorians were once again subject to the whims of a madman and a butcher, and by his malicious decree all Togorians were to be rounded up and kept in labor camps until the construction of a walled city could be completed. When that city was finally constructed over the ruins of Caross, the malnourished Togorians were forced into behind those towering walls to live out the rest of their lives in squalor, fear, and perpetual hunger.
Intent: To create a settlement for the surviving Togorians still living on Togoria, and as a labor camp to intentionally work, starve, and murder the Togorian population by the command of Darth Vornskr.
