Points of Interest
The House of Lords: Located in what was once the Senate Hall, the House of Lords sits as the seat of governance for the Grayson Imperium. Once a month, the House is expected to meet to make the decisions that will guide the Imperium toward its preferred future.
Ministry of Industry: The Ministry of Industry is the economic center of the Imperium. It is here that the nations greatest economist and bureaucrats keep the wheels of the economy turning. The Ministry of Industry manages the state's treasury (at the Imperator's liking), plans the industrial expansion of Imperium worlds, and uses analytics to decide what decisions must be made to guide the nation's economy in the most efficient direction.
Holy Center: A massive cathedral erected by the Essonian people, the Holy Center is considered the chief church of the Followers of the Ashla. The cathedral has been designed to accommodate several thousand beings at any given time, and is open to any citizen of the Imperium that wishes to worship at all times. The Followers of the Ashla convene here once a week to preach their holy word. The Holy Center also serves as a homeless shelter for those that can find nowhere to go, and unlike the rest of the sector, welcomes non-Essonians with open arms.
The Grayson Imperial Palace of Learning: Formerly only the Imperial Palace, the Grayson Imperial Palace of Learning is both the home of the Imperator, and an academy from which the Imperium's Jedi Council governs its pupils and teaches them the ways of the Ashla. The upper sections of the palace are reserved for the Imperator and his chosen few, whilst the lower levels form a Jedi Academy. The academy stretches far beneath the upper levels; dozens of training rooms, meditation chambers of every kind, and experimentation chambers are hidden within its depths.
Soldier's Rest: A massive garrison in the heart of the sector, the Sons of Ession are based from here. It serves as both a launching point for the Sons, and the center of the military intelligence/command. The garrison's presence has rendered much of the surrounding sector pacified due to the presence of so many soldiers.
Security
High - New Essonia is garrisoned by the Sons of Ession. Whenever they are not deployed, a large army of elite soldiers calls this place home, and a sizable garrison remains at all times to maintain the peace and protect the sector should it ever come under attack.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
New Essonia has always been the center of Coruscant, though under several different names. Its presence near the seats of governance have ensured that only the most elite and wealthy call it home. Recently, the sector was depleted of much of its alien population by the imperial warlords that called it home. When Coruscant fell under the Grayson Imperium's control, the followers of these belligerent warlords were relocated to sections of the planet afforded to the imperial nobility after having their wealth confiscated. These empty homes were swiftly populated by the Essonians, whom wasted little time in forging the sector into one that they could call home.
Since their arrival, New Essonia has returned to its status as a trade hub, and center of political affairs. It serves as the cultural heart of the greater Imperium as a whole.

Setting Information
- City Name: New Essonia
- Classification: Metropolis
- Location: Coruscant
- Affiliation: The capital 'city' of the Grayson Imperium, New Essonia is under the direct governance of the Imperator and House Grayson. Beneath him is a council of elders democratically voted in by the Essonian people. They are expected to run this rather large section of Coruscant, with the Imperator only intervening to break up ties, and to take direct control if the council proves inept.
- Population: Heavily Crowded, the majority of the Essonian race (Essonian Humans) resides here.
- Demographics: The majority of the population is made up of immigrant Essonians, whilst the remainder is made up of every strand of human, near-human, and alien that can find its way to Coruscant. 85% Essonian 15% Everything else
- Wealth - Wealthy: The Essonians that survived the purging of their world were the best of their people. United under a singular banner, the Essonians warred their way across Imperial and Sith worlds, and took many spoils from their campaigns. Once Coruscant was subjugated by their armies, the Essonians proceeded to plunder the homes of those serving the imperial warlords that had not surrendered to the fledgling Imperium. Their primary army, The Sons of Ession, are also afforded large tax breaks to cover their mandatory enlistment policies. The district also surrounds the senate hall and the primary centers of commerce on Coruscant, meaning more than a few credits are flowing regularly into the sector.
- Stability: High: -The Essonians are a collectivist group. They value one another more than they do themselves, and are a strictly moral and religious people. They fully believe in loving thy neighbor, and will go out of their way to help one another should any troubles arise. What little crime that is present is swiftly put down by security teams of Sons of Ession recruits, and those forces are supported by the vast majority of the community. The Essonians have forged a culture of compassion, cooperation, and disdain for opportunists and users, and thus have little tolerance for criminals of any kind.
- Freedom & Oppression: The sector is fairly relaxed compared to most of Coruscant. The nature of the citizens and the support of those fulfilling policing roles has made the sector rather harmonious, and people are allowed to do as they wish. That being said, no religious organizations other than the Followers of the Ashla are permitted within, and Sith paraphernalia is strictly banned. Non-medicinal drugs are banned as well, though a alcohol is permitted, and a handful of bars dot the surface. Perpetrators will face heavy fines and possible jail time depending on the severity of the crime, or the severity of whatever is in their possession.
- Description: New Essonia is the bright jewel of Coruscant. It is the wealthiest sector of the planet, and is dotted with massive skyscrapers and thousands of smaller structures. This sector never sleeps, and is often awash in neon lights as night falls. Millions of beings can be seen traveling throughout the sector at any time of day. Despite its massive population, the city streets are quite clean, as the Essonians have a general shared pride in their place of living. You will find next to no homeless here, as Essonians are generally given homes by good-hearted citizens, and non-Essonians that live on the streets are ignored to the degree that they simply leave for other sectors.
