New Ground System

So with [member="sabrina"] I've been trying out a way to have skirmishes set up.

Basically it involves a 6x6 grid (or whatever we want depending on scale). The terrain is randomly generated, then the defender chooses which of the 4 sides they want to start on, the attacker facing them. The defender has to deploy first though, so it's a balance.

Other than points cost and movement speeds there's no stats or rules.

The scale of the battle is small, squads of 12 troops or single tanks being purchased at once.

Thoughts?

Well apart from my side as they choose the forces before I| even had chance, then left me trying to fight with load infantry v anything. I was looking forward to that game as well.

To be fair though, if I faced the one at the end who jumped in and decide to jump in to the middle of my formation. I might stood a chance, as that was my plan. Cannae style attack, and let them encircle them selves.
Though yes 10 infantry and then leave me high and dry, was very unfair.
