New home, big family

Location: Australis Estate.

Mila was starting to get used to her new home on Mandalore. The estate had enough room for her to explore, there was always something to do and she had a family that loved her. She had even grown used to the physical changes caused by the Sith alchemy. Such as the small set of horns on her head, which were okay, the sharpened canines were useful for quite a few things, but her favorite was her new tail.

Along with the new physical changes, came new urges and things she liked. Now she enjoyed being off the ground, she also enjoyed eating fruit above anything else, and then came the strange nocturnal habits. Midnight raids on the kitchen were frequent and left little signs of it being done by a child, as only fruits instead of sweets were taken. Much to the dismay of the chief who was having a difficult time combating his new nocturnal foe.

This nocturnal habit was taking its toll at the moment, as the mid day sun found her sleeping in the pavilion on the back deck. More precisely, eight feet off the ground on one the support rafters. The beam was just wide enough for her to lay flat on her stomach. She was using her arm as a pillow, allowing the other one to hang freely, while her legs and bare feet dangled over either side. Her tail was wrapped tightly around the beam, anchoring her securely in place.

Her little sleeping spot was in full view of the sun, and anyone who walked by. This was something she wasn't worried about, as she knew almost everyone here. What she didn't know was that some family members were returning home. Family she had yet to meet.

Milla was the cutest addition to Yasha’s best friend’s life. Cassie and Tuulu deserved moments of happiness, and it shocked Yasha how Cassie’s happiness had in fact become Tuulu’s as well. It seemed like her most loyal bodyguard was finally moving on, getting a life of his own to value and protect.

She couldn’t help the grin on her face as Tuulu padded in lupine form around the back grounds, sniffing and peering up at [member="Cassiopeia Caranthyr"]’s new addition.

“Good to be home, Dar’ika?” Yasha pulled off her beskar’gam helm, clipping it to her belt. Today the armour of the Infernal was nowhere to be found, instead traded for lighter ‘gam in a more classic style. Adara trotted along beside her mother, in a crisp spider silk suit and her hair done in two braids and dark red ribbons.

“Elek, Buir! To think I get several more days of this! Please tell me you’ll take off what you can, Buir. I want to spend time with you. And… oh! Buir, look! That must be Ba’vodu Cassie’s new ad’ika! Oh mother, will she fall?” Adara peered up at [member="Milla Ordo"], trotting over with a childish gasp. “Helloooooo up there! Goodness aren’t you frightened of the height!?”

Perhaps not the most subtle thing the ten year old ever said in her life. Yasha chuckled and trotted over, ready to catch Milla if she was surprised out of balance.

Milla's peaceful nap was abruptly disturbed an unfamiliar voice speaking to her. Startled, the young girl sat up from her precarious sleeping position. For a moment she forgot where she was and almost lost her balance. Luckily her tail still had a firm enough a hold for her to get her legs securely wrapped around the beam. Milla froze in place to make sure she had balance before looking down to see who had called to her.

Below her was a girl about her age wearing a fine silk suite and her hair in two braids. This was a girl Milla had never seen before. She wasn't alone however, as the tall woman clad in beskar'gam trotted over to stand by the girl. Shaking away some of the sleep, the girls question to Milla was finally sinking in. "N...no, I'm not afraid of being up here. I actually kind of like it."

Milla figured it was best to climb down now since she didn't want to be rude, and also keep her buir from having an anxiety attack about where she was sleeping. She stood up on the beam and unwound her tail, allowing it to do all the work of balancing. The short walk across the beam was simple and done with practiced ease. Reaching the other side, she climbed down several support braces before making it to the floor.

She stretched her arms above her head as her bare feet padded softly across the cement. Her blue eyes looked up at Yasha and Adara as she reached them. "H..hi. I'm Milla.'

The girl appeared to be nearly falling over, but her balance stood true. A tail? What sort of child had [member="Cassiopeia Caranthyr"] adopted?

“Oh my, I’d be fit to be tied. Truly terrified to be all up there. How brave of you!” Adara peppered, hopping a few steps closer to [member="Milla Ordo"].

Yasha smiled, and unfurled her wolf-helm, sliding a pair of sunglasses over her sensitive eyes. The child seemed spry, a girl after Yasha’s own heart even as Tuulu trotted up and sat panting before leaning closer to his girlfriend Cassie’s new addition. As if he’d let Milla fall.

“Hello. Oh you mustn’t be afraid of me, not at all. I’m Adara. Ba’vodu Cassie is, well, my Aunt. Isn’t that right, mother?” Adara looked up to her mother, and Yasha shrugged with a nod.

“More or less, that’s how it works, yes. It’s a pleasure to meet you Milla, you may call me Ba’vodu Yasha. Aunt Yasha, in Basic. Where is your mother? Did we miss her? I suppose it doesn’t matter, we came to see you.”

Milla's eyes turned to Adara when she spoke. The young girl had a very eloquent of speech, making her seem older than what she was. She raised an eyebrow some when Adara called her brave. "I don't know about brave. Being that high up is just a little safer, makes it harder for threats to reach me."

Her attention went to Yasha as she put on her sunglasses, then to Tuulu when he joined them. When Adara stated that Cassi was her aunt, it brought Milla's full attention to the girl. Her tail twitched some in excitement as she took in the information that Yasha and Adara were family. "So that means you're my cousin." She gave a smile at the fact that not ononly did she have a sister her age, but also a cousin. As she smiled, she revealed her sharp canines that were a quarter inch longer than the rest of her teeth.

The smile faded some as Yasha asked if her mother was there. Milla really wasn't sure, considering she had been asleep for most the afternoon. "I'm not sure. I don't remember her saying that she was going anywhere. Although...I've kinda been sleeping for a while."
