Mig took a breath as he stepped off the Echo's Light. It may've seemed odd for him to still live in the courier, but Mig wanted to make sure everything else was done first. Today brought new goals, new missions, new ways things could either workout great or go wrong. It was also a day he and Raya Krayt had discussed not too long ago. Mig watch as Leddie ran around, playing a simple tune on her bes'bev. He smiled hearing it, happy that she was good at something that wasn't fighting. Probably sounded stupid, but it was the truth. He would start to make his way to the landing area though, hoping to be there before the first ships touched down today. He'd hear his comm beep, and quickly turned it on to hear Ash, one of the fleet's AI.

"We have traffic coming in a cleared,"

"Thanks Ash. Keep me posted on any changes." He smiled a little. He could see a "tank" rolling by, its turret replaced with a multitool that right now held a plow. He heard the driver complaining about something breaking, so he knew poor Fred would have a fun morning. He could see the small shops that had finally set up, some in shacks and some in freighters. The shadow of a Core Ship covering the area and making it a cool place for people to rest this time of day. He watched as some kids ran around, and adults worked. He could hear the forge in the distance fire up for the first time today. It was finally somewhere safe. And not just for his clan.

As he finally made it though, he watched the skies. He was next to Watchpost Elco, trying to stay calm as he waited. He already knew tensions would be high, but his hopes were they wouldn't be too high today. The marshal walked out as well, a metallic step noting his walk.

"Stop worrying so much. Doesn't suit ya."

"I look worried?" Mig chuckled some as he watched. Just waiting to Clan Krayt.

"We'll be living here from now on." The helmet filtered voice of his father filled Eliz's ears. He glanced up to the white armored man, his face blank. He had a pack on his shoulders, holding the few things that made up his belongings. Keepsakes of his mothers. Her favorite book, a picture of her, and another of her carrying both him and his twin sister Esmeralda Krayt Esmeralda Krayt . "The others will be here soon."

The whole clan, all in one place. All meeting Clan Gred. From what he learned, there might be some issues between them. He hoped there wouldn't be, but as his grip tightened on his pack he couldn't help but think there'd probably be some kind of fight.

It had been a hard decision to make and one that was not viewed upon fondly by some members of the Force distrusting clan. However, the clan was small and had dwindling funds and an inexperienced Alor which led to Raya deciding to join resources with Clan Gred with the intention that both clans would benefit each other and hopefully her clan could see a different side to Force Users than the one they believed in as she wished to integrate them back into their society - though if they put up enough resistance then she would relent. For now, she hoped she could simply change their minds.

Raya sat in the back of the ship, her head down and elbows resting on her knees as she contemplated the events that may unfold today. It didn't take an empath to notice from her body language that she was nervous but she didn't display such nervousness in her tone as she had grown accustomed to hiding the emotion that had become familiar to her since becoming Alor.

She hoped her fellow clansmen would behave sensibly and not start any fights with their new neighbours as it would reflect badly not just on themselves but on the clan. She knew her actions had not been popular but she sincerely hoped it would be in the best interests of the clan to reconcile their relationship with Force Users. Especially since their dwindling numbers meant they couldn't afford to be too picky.

The change in sound from the thrusters signalled their descent so Raya rose to her feet with a couple of her loyal clan members who accompanied her. Once they touched down, the hangar door opened and the handful of Mandalorians walked out. Immediately, her eyes scanned for Mig who she was supposed to meet and once she spotted him she approached him and offered a handshake, her accompanying Mandalorians trailing behind her. "Thank you for welcoming us into your home." She told Mig.

Mig looked at the ship, smiling a little as he watched everyone depart. He watched, soon picking out Raya as she approached, extending a hand. Mig quickly took it, shaking her hand and smiling a bit. He was a bit surprised when she said it was his home, making the man chuckle just a little.

"Vod, this was never supposed to be just my clan's home. I'm just happy we have somewhere to offer." He then looked at the others, happy to see them all there. "And I would like to welcome you all to New Dawn. I know it looks more like a starship park right now, but we used what we had." He then eyed the small town's marshal, who seemed calm at the moment. That was good. He then looked at Raya again, smiling some when he noticed a certain ten year old sneaking up. He shook his head and chuckled at Leddie. Of course that nosy Zabrak wanted to look.

"Anyway, I wanted to show you and your clan around the town, if you want one. Show you the highlights."

The Mandalorians adorned with the Krayt sigil soon filtered off as they were greeted by other clan members, some of them carrying bags or boxes of belongings. These were the Mandalorians who were the least opposed to her move to intergrate the two clans. Not all of her clan had shown up for the meeting. She hoped Clan Gred wouldn't take offence.

"Of course. You're right."
She agreed. There was no need for the us and them attitude. While they were different clans, they were all Mandalorians and Mandalorians had a duty of care to each other which transcended the confines of clans. She had felt so isolated with her clan that such a fact had almost escaped her mind.

"It's better than nothing and best of all: It's ours. After the Sith took so much from us, it's nice to have somewhere to call home again." She replied. In the current climate, Mandalorians were thankful to have a safe home, albeit Mandalore was much worse off than Concord Dawn. She noticed one of the children creeping up to them and smiled. "Who's this?" She asked.

Raya nodded at Mig's question and reached up to remove her helmet to allow for a little more humanity in the conversation rather than a faceless helmet. "Yeah, of course. We'd like that." She responded, looking around the helmets behind her who nodded in agreement.

Mig smiled a bit, mimicking the helmet removal as he looked at the group there. He wasn't sure if it was everyone or not, but if it wasn't everyone it was a start. He looked at the group, happy to be helping them at the very least. Like Raya just said, even if it didn't look the best, it was home now. The a question came up about who a certain little someone was. He looked at Leddie, chuckling and waving her over.

"This, is my ad'ike, Leddie. She's being a little nosy right now." He chuckled as the little Zabrak waved, smiling.

"Hi!"

Mig would then look out to New Dawn, smiling a little as he looked back, having a good idea how to start.

"Ok. So the watchpost for the Marshal's right here, and the Core Ships kinda hard to miss, but I think I've got an idea. The Forge, Medical Center, then the Residental area. Maybe the barns if some folks wanna see the animals around here."
