- Description: A joint task force between COMPNOR’s main agencies, created to accomplish tasks domestically and abroad. When dealing with domestic issues within the New Imperial Order, agents and operatives recruited from COMPNOR’s main agencies work together discreetly, in an efficient manner, to complete their objectives. Missions such as these are to root out any political dissidence via counterintelligence; creating faux, underground organizations to gather these activists that are a mix of dissident Imperial citizens and foreigners alike, and to arrest or execute them when able.
Abroad, COMPNOR has a broad set of operations that requires plausible deniability to prevent the New Imperial Order being accountable for those operations. For example, NICPO will fund and aid Imperial sympathizers in foreign nations as a means to undermine the targeted nation. Other examples could be establishing new media outlets, or sleeper agents. The methods are broad and vary, but ultimately they serve to destabilize a targeted government and replace it with one that adheres to New Imperial political values.

- Membership: A few thousand New Imperials operate within NIPCO. With their given nature, recruitment must be pristine and monitored with utmost importance. Operatives are recruited from the Coalition of Progress and Improvements, Observation personnel from CompForce, the Imperial Security Bureau, and oftentimes intelligence officers from the Stormtrooper Corps. Candidates must have a zeal drive in their service to the New Imperial Order and its ideas.
- Climate: Given the delicate nature of their work, agents take their work seriously. There is strict protocol to follow when operating as each agent is tasked with their own unique assignments and are to report directly to their respective officers. Failure to follow protocol could be severe.
- Reputation: COMPNOR has polarizing views from the subjects of the New Imperial Order. Tarkinist Imperials adore and support the organization while Palleonist Imperials have disdain and little trust to the organization.
- Curios: Agents in NICPO have their unique code cylinder which gives them a certain clearance level to what they can have access to. Officers, obviously, have a higher clearance code than their subordinates.
- Rules: NICPO has rules for all its operatives, there are general rules everyone is expected to comply with and then there are specified rules that are meant to whatever unit it is meant for.
- Goals: NICPO has few primary objectives that it strives to complete. The collection of information, both domestic and foreign, which is analyzed. Subtly imposing New Imperial ideals, specifically Tarkinist ideals, onto New Imperial worlds that subscribe to a different set of ideals through various methods. Lastly, to influence foreign policy and undermine rivaling nations through various methods. These are important goals to this agency.

Dissidence is an endless abyss in the Galaxy, always undermining the efforts of Imperialism. COMPNOR spends resources and time to counter these elements that threaten the future of the New Imperial Order. One of COMPNOR’s many products was NICPO, or called the New Imperial Covert Political Operations. A joint task force that recruits operatives within COMPNOR, and other intelligence officers outside of its umbrella.
This organization was created to counter domestic threats, and to undermine foreign nations that do not sympathize with the ideals of Imperialism. With the death of the late Imperator, Irveric Tavlar, counterintelligence is critical for national security of the New Imperial Order. The activities of NICPO are highly irregular and illegal, alike to most of COMPNOR’s operations and programs.
Nations such as the Galactic Alliance are a target for NICPO’s foreign operations, planting agents in systems that adhere to Imperialism or are agitated with the current system, ironically supporting anarchists and the likes. Every operation strives for the same goal, but are conducted differently in their own unique ways.
