Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all and to be here. I'm a long times star wars fan having grown up with all of the movies, books and many of the games. I found this site just by chance earlier and although I have very limited RP experience I'm extremely interested as the site seems active and fun.

I'm hoping you guys don't mind showing a newbie like myself the ropes and helping me create the character I want to create. For those with sharp eyes you already know by my name what the Race I want to go with is. I look forward to RPing with you all and I am super excited to construct a character and have fun with everyone ^_^

Thank you ^_^. Most of my questions revolve around the factions (there seem to be a lot) and me trying to figure out what I want to do for a back story to get my character started..Also the timeline we're currently in o-o.

Current timeline here is like 844 ABY.

As for Factions.....there is quite a bit of them. My advice, look for one that not only suits you, but is active as well. If you are looking to make a Jedi style character....there is the Galactic Alliance...The Jedi Order....The Silver Sanctum....and the Republic. For darksiders, there is the One Sith that is the most popular faction, but there are others out there.


Most Major Factions can help you quickly....with some Minor Factions that are extremely active that can help your character grow. Basically, it comes down to personal preference.

Thanks for the tips. Looking them all over it seems like "The One Sith" will be the best suit for my character. Is there some proper way of joining a faction or are you just kind of put into one at character creation? o-o Basically I am wondering if I need to RP it out or put something in the back story.

Most Factions (like the One Sith) are open Factions....meaning you just click the join button (Once you go to their home page) and you're a new member. You can then ask (creating a thread in the OOC Forum) for someone(s) to come and bring you into the mix for back story purposes if you want.

It does help, thank you I think I have an idea of what I want to do then. I would like to get someone to 'bring her in' as it were and hopefully someone who can take her under there wing, would be even better. hopefully I get lucky :3

There are forums to find masters in the One Sith....currently on my phone so I can't look them up into I get home and hop on my laptop. However, if you start a thread in the OOC....someone can help you get started...if not...I'll be back home in a hour to help you.
