New Military Chief of Staff

I can now reveal that the new Military Chief of Staff is [member="Vaudin Miir"] - whose credentials for the role were exemplary.

He takes his new post immediately and will no doubt have his hands full in dealing with the current Invasions.

I'd also like to take the opportunity to welcome [member="Kayleigh Tyven"] to her new role as Aide-to-the-Chief. She'll also be taking up the role of Moderator for ensuring the Military side of the site is kept up to date.

Speeches from both are more than welcome (but keep them short, there's a war on)

And finally I'd like to thank those that volunteered to be considered for the post as the decision was a difficult one - so it was great to see so many worthy candidates put themselves forward.

In all seriousness though, thank you for the opportunity to help [member="Vaudin Miir"] bring the Republic's armory and military up to speed. If ever it showed where our biggest gaps were, it would be here. There is quite a bit of work to do with regard to the boards themselves, as well as the armory listings, the companies which support us, our tech (both creating and reference material), and our overall military invasion strategy. I know that as far as our fleets are concerned, we vastly overpower our enemies, thanks in large part to [member="Camellia Swift"] and [member="Friedrich Stahlmann"] for such fantastic fleeting skills which I can only hope to one day learn from.

That being said, I will put together an agenda and pass it along to Vaudin to look over, add to, and amend, so that we can start working on making serious improvements in the military. We'll be up to speed in no time! If anyone has any suggestions of their own, or things they would like to see done, changed, or removed please let us know and we'll do our best to make it work. We're all a team, and my inbox is open to everyone if they need to reach me.

I accepted this position and already have plans drawn up for ground Armament and restructuring. I want to thank [member="Kayleigh Tyven"] for agreeing to act as an aid and help me. As the Navy is so well in hand I will trust [member="Friedrich Stahlmann"] and [member="Camellia Swift"] in their judgement and that they will tell me what they need so we can make it happen. I have as I said begun development of some new items designed to help our ground forces. If anyone wants to help with some new Tanks ([member="Kiyron "]) let me know. Now we have a war to fight lets get going.
