New Places

With the addition of the new nightclub in Zeltros, Golden Entertainment's net profit had increased substantially, enough to add more places, and expand it's location around the galaxy. Plans were being drafted everyday within the current budget. For Maria however, she did not care for that: what she cared for was the current meeting she had with the Queen of Commenor, Lady Kay.

The astute businesswoman was not aware of what had occurred in Commenor in the last few months, although she did approve of Her Majesty's tough rule, believing if the Republic had adopted such methods, they would have had a better chance fighting the Sith Order.

Then again, the young Maria Vosk no longer cared about the defunct Republic, choosing to dedicate her talents toward the expansion of the company she headed, in order to please her bosses, and for her to also garner a fortune in the process, perhaps to one day build her own company.

"Transmitting IFF tag." she said, as she sent her transponders to the Commenor Naval Forces that guarded the world.

"Please tell her Majesty I will be meeting with her shortly."

[member="Maria Vosk"] 's ship was given clearance to land, once their tags had been verified and crosschecked with a list of new vessels that would be entering Commenori airspace. They were given co-ordinates to a landing platform not far from the Royal Palace outside of Chasin City were a security unit would meet them. They would all be checked again, verifying their credentials, and locking down any weapons on them before they'd even be allowed inside.

Once that was finished, Miss Vosk and her team (provided she had one of course), would be escorted to one of the meeting halls. The smell of Sapir tea would be noticeable as they got closer to the room. Kay sat at the head of the meeting table, tea in her hand and datapad in the other. She was dressed in black, as always, with silver lacing throughout. Her hair was brought up to a high bun, and a small silver crown rested on her head. Contacts were fitted in her eyes to hide the yellow speckles within them, and her Force Signature was shrunk down to a small tree nut.

The doors to the meeting room were already open before Miss Vosk was escorted in.

Maria did not bring a team, trusting on her own skills. She did not believe she need supervision, as she had been given a major responsibility, and the opportunity to be able to prove herself in the business world. This would be the first step in being able to show others she was a capable individual.

When she landed, she was escorted by two guards. Maria carefully observed Her Majesty's Royal Palace, seeing the spaceport among other things, but her mind still focused on what she intended to accomplish today.

As she neared the meeting room, she could smell Sapir tea. She couldn't remember the last time that she had drank Sapir team. In a way, she felt like she was revisiting part of a childhood, especially in the most unexpected of places.

When she arrived, Maria immediately bowed down to Queen Kay. "Your Majesty." she said, wearing a grey dress(the one in her avatar). Lady Kay didn't need to worry about Maria sensing her, as she herself had no training in the force.

"It is an honor to meet you your Majesty. How goes your day?" she curiously asked, as she drank some of her tea elegantly.

Kay bowed her head as [member="Maria Vosk"] came in and greeted her. "Thank you, Miss Vosk. My day is going very well thank. And how about yours? I trust that your journey was comfortable?"

She gestured for her to sit at the table. "Would you care for some Sapir tea?" Kay let go of her datapad after putting her cup down and wrapped her fingers around the kettle's handle as she prepared to not only top up her own cup, but to pour Miss Vosk a cup of tea as well.

"Thank you for asking." she respectfully replied. "My day has been going well. It's gotten even more better since I just visited a new planet. I would also love some sapir tea." she said, before they could begin talking about business."

"Mr. Golden and Dratos send their regards. They unfortunately cannot be here, but they wish you well."

She then drank her Sapir tea, before the business will begin.

"We would like your Majesty's permission to build a Nightclub here in Commenor. Like in Zeltros, we shall employ local contractors and resources." Maria said, as she waited for Lady Kay's response.

Kay nodded and poured [member="Maria Vosk"] a cup before filling her own cup and cradling it in her hand. She smiled and nodded a little in regards to Miss Vosk's superiors. "Send my regards to them as well, won't you?"

She sipped her tea and then tilted her head to the side a bit at the mention of a nightclub. They were fine, all things considered, but ones on Zeltros were far more unsavoury than she'd like. Commenor was more conservative than the pleasure planet. Zeltros was truly a place that she would never feel comfortable in.

"And how similar to the nightclub on Zeltros would this one be?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

"I will make sure to do that." she said. Maria then heard her speak about the Zeltron Nightclub. She made sure to address it, as she knew it would most certainly be controversial considering the conservative approach that Commenor had taken in recent times.

"Yes, however, the reason why our nightclub in Zeltron is so....let's say liberal, is due to, as you know, Zeltronian culture, as well as the Zeltron government allowing for such things to happen. Golden Entertainment always respects other nation's laws and values, and we fully intend to follow Commenor's laws." she said, as she awaited a response.

Kay nodded to what [member="Maria Vosk"] had to say. Liberal was a polite term for Zeltros, one that she'll have to use in the future. Whether or not she'd ever ally with such a planet was another matter entirely.

It was a good sign however that Golden Entertainment took it's business seriously. Or so that was how it appeared. She sipped her tea. "Gambling is allowed, though only with credits. I'd hate to see people lose their lives, their homes and their freedoms over losing a bet. As far as entertainment goes, no nudity, no prostitution. Depending on where your nightclub will be, the noise bylaw will require you to shut down by 1am. Any questions so far?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Absolutely." she said, clearly showing she intended to follow Commenor law. "Shall we begin the signing of the contract, if it is only fine with your Majesty." she asked politely.

Maria awaited her arrival, as she drank more Sapir tea, remembering some of her old childhood memories in the process.

Kay continued, "Alcohol is fine. One of our biggest exports is our Commenori Brandy. But spice and other such substances are not allowed."

[member="Maria Vosk"] was given a nod. "I'd like the read the contract fully before I sign it, of course. But yes, we may start that process." She wanted to be sure that she wasn't signing anything that could be changed or misinterpreted later on.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Of course your majesty. We fully intend to respect Commenor's laws, and practices. " Maria said.

A small part of her was eager and wondered if she had successfully done her job. She was excited at the thought of signing a contract with Commenor, due to it's proximity to the Core Worlds, and it's reputation as a trading world. More money for her, and more money for the people of Commenor. To Maria, it was a win-win situation.

Maria drank some more Sapir tea, as she waited for her to read the contract.

Kay nodded to [member="Maria Vosk"] , glad that there didn't seem to be any hint that she was trying to be sly.

She sipped her tea as she read over the contract. Everything seemed in order. There was no loopholes that she could find. It was a well written contract that covered all the bases. Kay set down her tea and signed the contract. There were two copies of course. "Congratulations Miss Vosk. I wish your company great success."
