New products [Abrion]

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
Opening up his terminal, Marek was checking the messages. He had a bit of business going on. And now that he had someone on the board of Neuro-Saav and Santhe Corp, he was in a good place. Add to that, the control on the Techno Union. Sure, the Abrion Corporate Alliance was being... off, but Marek wasn’t a politician, nor was he a technical expert. He was a businessman, a survivalist and someone who created ideas.

And today he was meeting with some people who could assist him on his next big game. He had Bright Star running the casino game, and he had a few things coming off from that end, but this was something else. With the recent creation, by donation from himself, to create the STEB Research Association, he moved a few labs to the handful of Niathal-shuttles he received from a deal with Silk. They were going to be turning back some interesting concepts.

The Neuro-Saav labs mixed with the engineers from Haor Chall and Santhe were also being very helpful, but right now? Now he was working on planetary ideas. There was a grocery list of things he wanted to do, and some of that would come forward. Upgrading or modifying the Silk exploration tools, see if he could get a deal working some of his team into Iron Crown, and making sure that the Techno Union was putting out products.

Today's docket was handling two major things. For test on Abrion worlds. The first was a revisit of an older weapon fashion, and the other was alternative power creation. He wanted to up the game of both warfare with a weapon that would only need to be fired once, and with alternative energy. That was on top of a few things he needed to visit with [member="Jared Ovmar"] about. One of those would help production infinitely. As much as Marek had been studying mechanical engineering, he still wasn't formally schooled and that hurt him.

Probably why he was contacting the people he needed. He was hoping [member="Raziel"] would keep the meting a secret, with all that spy power, and that [member="Irys Arist'lar"] would come lend her military expertise to the weapons creation. He also sent word out to [member="Chaos Maxtor"], [member="Barkt Melan"], [member="JX-XS Visser"] and the representative from ATC [member="Alisha'ven"].

Stepping through the catered conference room, and helping himself to a drink, he was awaiting the gathering of the minds of the sector to get to work on these projects.

Granted the night prior had been an misjudgment of the young Du Couteau's part but regardless in the end he felt that he himself enjoyed most of that night's pleasure and fun. Though the morning light that flooded into his room forced the young man to meet up with the consequences from last night. A groan escaped from his lips as he ducked beneath his covers. "Who left my blinds open?" He asked, sounding like a growl more than anything else. Shutting his eyes tightly as possible he tried to sleep a tad more, but with the sound of his bedroom door opening he knew that was not going to happen.

"Young Master, you have much to do and to get started on before the end of this day," His butler warned Seto, the older man quickly marched towards the bed as he began to organize his master’s clothing.

Seto groaned once more, hand slapping onto his face as he tried to physically remove the sleepiness from his body. Rubbing his eyes, with large amount of struggling, the young heir stood up and gave his butler a glare as he marched to his bathroom and wardrobe to prepare himself. Making a mental note that before doing anything stupid the night prior he would need to cancel the next day’s proceedings.

Now though, dressed and all of last night’s happenings washed off of his body, Seto straightened his tie and walked towards his office. Eyes targeting another person sitting on one of the guest chairs, Seto sneered as he was not exactly pleased to be bombarded with business so soon.

“Mister Hudon,” Seto greeted, his glare not removed but his voice remained civil enough. Mr. Hudon himself, dressed smartly and dark black hair and even darker brown eyes nodded in response. “So, what possess you this morning to approach me so soon?” Seto asked, marginally improving his mood.

Clearing his throat, Mr. Hudon shrugged once, “Just curious of how our President has taken to the recent graphs and statistics, usually I would be seeing you in my office and not the other way around,” He explained.

Seto rolled his eyes as he sat down on his own chair, quickly turning on his computer and scrolling through different information and data, “Not that I’m saying you should worry, but at times I feel as if patience might be the best course of action as of now,” Seto said, his voice bordering on a lakaerdsious tone.

The older man scoffed at the idea of simply waiting and letting things play out, and he was certain the young Heir was doing nothing but lazing around. Narrowing his eyes he stared deeply at Seto, “Do you intend to to get so-” But he was caught off by Seto.

“You can leave now Mister Hudon,” Seto demanded, typing away, not bothering to look up.

Glaring at his younger boss Mister Hudon nodded and quickly left. Seto would not share information nor give anything for free to his subordinate. Stifling a sigh Seto rubbed his temple as he checked his other appointments. True he did need to wait for things to play out but at the same time being bored did not help in the slightest. Shutting down his computer he turned around to face the window and stare out into the city, not exactly Coruscant level of a city but a city never the less. Eyes narrowing, when he proposed to move into his office and convert his facility into his home he was expecting to finish his work quickly and with little distraction. Sadly he always had too much work and distractions frequently crop up and ruin his concentration even more so than when he would commute to and fro his home and office.

Quickly standing up he marched down to his speeder, he had an appointment to keep up and entering the Techno Union, well he knew the importance of first impression. His own butler waiting in the wings as he quickly jumped into the speeder. Seto scrolled through his datapad and wondered how much he could get out of them, they were indeed a Union of perhaps the powerful and wealthiest business in the galaxy. Smirking he mused that one day he would bring himself up to that level, one day perhaps.

Swiftly moving up the stairs he nodded once at his butler, his eyes set upon reaching the meeting room. His hands went straight to his tie, assuring that it was straight and not loose. Seto’s eyes narrowing and his smirk disappearing and replaced for a much more neutral expression the more he neared the room. His feet stopped in front of the door, his fingers running through his black part of his hair. I’m not that nervous Seto thought angrily, removing his fingers from his hair as he snapped himself back into focus. Stepping inside the room his eyes noted the food catered for the occupants. Moving towards one of the empty seats he waited to be addressed before speaking. Confidence.
