Also, I was wondering how I would start out in the army. I see there are ranks for the navy but I don't see any for the army :\ Thanks in advance

It is sure great to see more troopers around

There are currently only one suggestion for a rank structure, improvements/changes might happen but here is what is suggested at the time being: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/73170-army-structure/

The Republic is vast and its military complex. If you want to RP a special kind of soldier you could invent something on your own as well.
