New Sub/Minor Faction - GRSF

So, with the blessing of our late leader Reshmar, I created a sub/minor faction for all those who have special forces type characters. It's still in W.I.P, mainly because I have very little idea what I'm actually doing, so the process of making it look good is going painfully slow. But it is up and running if anyone with the types of characters I've mentioned wants to join.​

I'm not trying to walk into your house and slam your cupboards, but why was a separate group deemed necessary if the composition of characters is merely those special force-oriented ones from the GR Military?

Or is this meant to encompass any and all Spec Ops types, regardless of faction?

it is a great idea but practically speaking do we even have enough active military to really have special force and general soldiers and fleet?

For the moment, it would only be for GR operatives, however I may expand it so it's more of a hub for all special units.

[member="Thoja Arlos"] For the moment, I'd like you to limit your organization to your 228th unit. Before launching any operation, just give me a heads up for a quick review. IC, you all still answer to the Republic Military chain of command, so you still belong to the Supreme Commander. If you guys want more autonomy, then this is a topic that needs to be brought up in the Senate with a sponsor.

Mmmm if the special forces of the republic need armor I do actually remember some that was made if you wanna PM me. (It was made of phrik and armorweave if I recall)

With the way the new rebellion system is set up these guys and gals acting as a minor faction will have plenty of opportunity to build new story avenues!

For example the FSC (thread under way) is a regional based Minor faction of republic worlds (now cut off from our clouds of influence!) So its stories are likely to be somewhat limited in terms of scope. This generates an opportunity for members to exercise playing a special ops character who can go any where any time. [member="Faith Organa"] and [member="Geral Varta"] I think our thread in house can address the proper means of IC funding for this!
