Galactic Republic News!
First I would like to take the opportunity to thank [member="Gir Quee"] for his period as FA in the Galactic Republic. Real life has again stolen him away from us but I know he is around keeping a close eye on the Republic for us even in the future.
Thank you Gir for your many hours spent with us, you have truly been a great support!
Recent events....These are troubling times for the Republic indeed. With the defence of Roche lost to the Mandalorian invasion allegations of war crimes against the Republic Supreme Commander [member="Ali Hadrix"] caused many Republic loyalists to change side during the conflict and stop defending Roche.
This unfortunate turn of events lead to more bad news for the Republic as the former Grand Master of the Jedi Order, a known supporter of the Republic went missing. The Orders new Grand Master removed the orders servitude toward the Republic leaving it without its ancient allies.
With that the queen of Eshar called home its ambassador leaving the world in a political turmoil as its queen so far has refused to appoint a new senator.
A new invasion...
It did not take long before yet another disaster was seen looming on the horizon as leading Alderaan nobilities invited Mandalorian war lords to form a blocade around their planet asking for their protection during a time ressembling a civil war. Alderaan then seize its political affiliation with the Republic. In a hurry Republic Diplomats now rush to Alderaan to try and convince them not to leave the commonwealth. With the Mandalorian fleet near by the situation is very tense and many remember Roche and its similair situation. Dare you enter the story?

But all is not dark. With a great effort the world of Yutan has entered the Republic commonwealth through a succesful dominion.
The Republic is also discussing with the government of Altier, sending aid to help them root out a mysterious death cult in the dominion of Altier found here.
Talks with the government of Agamar has recently been initiated as well and the dominion can be found here.
With everything that is going on in various worlds of the Republic one thing is for sure - despite being troubling times, the Galactic Republic sure is vibrant with interest and activity. You go Republicans!
