There is an idea out there to create a new Major Faction to cover the core and protect the planets within the Core from being dominated by the Sith and FO.

If the major faction application it opens up the opportunity to write with the writers based on Corellia, Coruscant, Empress Teta, and Atrisia.

We can develop stories for raids, rebel resistance, diplomacy, trade, etc etc etc

I still hate the name. But I think the concept is a solid idea, and the most coherent plan I've heard for the Core region since the GA went minor. I believe Alderaan would benefit from the publicity of being once more a coalition builder, and negotiating a ground floor deal with the other groups involved puts the faction in the best place to preserve the work we've put in, rather than having to deal with whichever league of evildoers who want to raid Core Worlds every week.

The proposed major seems set up to go out of its way to preserve each minor's identity, so as long as there is no altering the deal further down the line I'm all for it.

I mirror the sentiment this is the best plan to date to protect the core from intrusion from the Sith and Empire. Is till believe this should not be a isolationist group. The FO and TSE are still going to keep coming and a new major can't take the fight alone.

I'm with it, as are my alts that are Alderaani by blood.

The idea of a true alliance that includes all the major light sided or neutral factions along with even the minors will put our numbers above the sith and FO combined. It is truly a very good tactical idea in stopping the sith and FO from expanding and trashing our galaxy further.
