NFU Story idea

So, I'll start by saying I'm fairly new here and haven't quite got a handle on the PvP side of things.

I have a concept for a storyline, and it is based on the assumption that the Invasion PvP topic will only chart a day or so of time, based on a few key areas.

The notion is to allow us to get really involved in writing about a protracted, messy campaign and really giving a gritty POV from the men on the ground that just can't be done in a day.

Following the invasion - if the OP wins - we write about a siege of another major city on Druckenwell. If not, we can have a think based on the outcome of the invasion. Possibilities would include: writing about the defense of another bit of land we took on Druckenwell as the CIS kick us off; laying siege to another city on the world before CIS forces lift the siege; defending another world from a minor CIS counter; something entirely seperate with an NPC faction.

This is probably par for the course for you Army guys, but it's something I'd quite like to do to get this character kickstarted!

It won't be a story for heroes of the space wizard kind, it'll be a day for heroes who pay for every metre of ground made with blood and sweat. Men who dig trenches, dig latrines, go into battle with every expectation that it might be their last! :)

Could still work this up.

A province to the north refuses to believe the CIS is responsible, or simply refuses the OP rule.

Given recent events we can hardly go in and conquer them, but we surround the state as they're producing battledroids. It's then a complex game of working out whether the best way forwards is a careful attack, negotiation, or more nefarious means. The citizens are clearly being influenced and lied to by their governors, so we have to act.
