Nice Digs. (Serian)

Rumour had it that her newest companion had finally found himself a place to call his own on Exocron. Crystal decided to find out for herself if the rumours were true. They normally were, since not many dared to lie to her directly, at least not knowingly. After all, she was not known for her tolerance for attempts to deceive her. Not that it was known to followers, but Crystal was exceptionally gifted at reading the thoughts of those that she interacted with, among other things. She could also cause a great deal of damage if angered with lies, as an example.

But for the moment, that was neither here nor there. The Sith picked up her communicator and punched in Serian’s frequency. And she waited for a response on the other end before speaking.

“Greetings Serian. I am told that you’ve found yourself a residence. Congratulations are in order.”

In the shadows, at the fringe
He’d had the place for about two days, his things from his previous residence having arrived just that day. Once the movers were gone, getting everything placed was fairly easy, especially when you simply had to expend a bit of energy to move it with your mind. Normally the task would have taken all day, but it was simply a couple of hours. When his Comm beeped at him it was an unusual thing for very few people ever contacted him. So when he answered and heard [member="Crystal"] ‘s voice his first reaction was annoyance. He wasn’t used to people keeping tabs on him and it immediately made him suspicious, then annoyed. However he stifled it, but then the second problem, he didn’t know how to react.

He couldn’t recall a single instance where someone had done such a thing and so he was more than a little surprised. She’d hear him chuckle “It’s just a house, but...thank you. I just got everything situated, but if you’d like to come and see it, you’d be welcome.

It was only an assumption, why else would she have called if not to wish to see it. She hadn’t done anything for him to suspect her of wishing him ill so he was willing to set aside his misgivings, for the moment.

Luckily for Serian, Crystal wasn’t an impatient woman. So his delay in response didn’t bother the Sith. “Just a house, yes. But on this world, showing your commitment to the Crusade. So as I said, congratulations are certainly in order.”

She paused, considering his invitation. “I’d be delighted to accept your invitation, Serian. I’ll require the location and an hour.”

It was easy enough to give and he set about arranging some light fare for himself and his arriving guest. [member="Crystal"] was going to find out soon enough that he gave little importance to most objects. A house was the same as clothing, a means to an end, he was just used to the kind of environment he had and felt little inclination to change. He had the money to afford what he wished, though it wasn’t extravagant, he wasn’t given to pomp and show.

He was dressed in black dress pants, a matching black vest, a long sleeved white shirt and black shoes. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up some and he wore no tie, the top buttons undone. His blue black hair was simply brushed out of his face, but somewhat mussed. He had dressed up some from what he’d have worn simply for comfort, but not so much as to seem silly within his own house. It was in respect to the one coming that he’d done this, so far he had a good opinion of her.

If she had been someone else, someone he had little regard for, then he would have greeted them less. He adhered to a strict code of conduct, perhaps it was a bit ‘old world’ and stiff, but he couldn’t bring himself to act, in his opinion, sloppy.

Crystal required an hour to bathe and redress herself, and started after ending holo communications with Serian. She tossed the communicator onto the cushions beside her. The Priestess was still in the halls of Hali, but upon hearing interesting pillow talk had ceased her previous activities for more intellectually stimulating activities. And now she had places to be.

Without a word, she left the company of the other followers that were gathered in the hall and returned to quarters to begin cleaning herself up.

It was just under an hour when she arrived at Serian’s home and alerted her presence at the gate. The Sith wasn’t dressed formally, but she never looked like a slob, not even in private activites. Crystal was clean and dressed crisply in a well cut top and slacks. Her hair fell straight and long, half way down her back. She’d toyed with the notion of cutting it again, but that was more inconvenient in the long run.

She waited patiently at the gate to either be greeted or let in.
