She was very flexible and lithe during her life, though she rarely showed any of the skills that would have been in conjunction with that.

She let him do it because she had had a vision that her death would save him. She had had feelings for him that he had not returned at the time. As she had predicted, her death had partly saved him from himself. He regrets that decision every day.
