RIMWARD TRADE LEAGUE
L O O V R I A
Never let it be said that Artemis let a good opportunity go to waste. Right there on Oren, in the murky, slave-ridden, slaver-friendly world of Loovria was a golden opportunity. Credits, credits flowed here and it was starting to rival Terminus, starting to at the very least. Casinos, coliseums, gladiatorial fights, and clubs of all kinds littered the streets. Vendors hocked their wares in alleys, sidewalks and anywhere else the city would permit them. Bounty hunters loved these kinds of places and Mandalorians looking to get away liked them too. The sounds of people shouting at nearby concerts were drowning in the sounds of speeders and sky taxis that wooshed by at this level. Not that it mattered much to Artemis who managed to con her way into the Arena.
Rather, one of the many arenas that dotted Oren. Arenas, gambling halls, casinos - they were all here, Oren was a literal city of sin and the government kept looking the other way. Even as the Rimward Trade League encroached on the system of Loovria. No one here was particularly bothered by it. Sure, the Eclipse took a hard blow, but that wouldn't stop the flow of slaves and credits in and out of the planet, much less the city itself. Especially on nights like tonight where big fights and a whole lot of credits stood to be made.
It was going to be a huge fight, an undefeated champion, and a newfound slave. Bets were already being made and it looked like this was going to be a great way to make money. It was the Nabooian's own regret that she wasn't at the casinos to see the carnage unfold if the new guy won. That only meant more people would bet on those fights or see how many slot machines would be broken in the process. Unbeknownst to Artemis, more serious matters such as the gathering of Mandalorians at an underground fighting ring, or even a club not far from the arena would be happening. What mattered most right at that moment to Artemis Verd was being there to not just watch the fight, but to profit from whatever the outcome would be.
