+ Eyesight; Nina's eyesight far surpasses that of most species' due to her Umbaran heritage, allowing her to see in vary degrees of light, darkness and UV, even penetrating visual hindrances such as fog and synthetic products
+ Telepathy; Nina is naturally gifted with the art of Telepathy, being more susceptible towards it due to her Umbaran heritage and upbringing. Note; at present Nina can only perform touch-telepathy, requiring contact with an individual. This is her main means of communication
+ Force Manipulation; Nina is naturally gifted in the art of Manipulation through the Force due to her Umbaran heritage and upbringing, and is used in conjunction with the aforementioned Telepathy

- Hyper-Sensitive Eyesight; Nina's heritage is both a blessing and a burden, her sensitive eyesight leading her to suffer should she be exposed to sudden blinding lights in an almost photosensitive epileptic manner
- Paranoia; Having been raised amidst deceitful individuals Nina is both paranoid and untrusting of others, which could hinder her socially
- Umbarese; Nina has no knowledge of Galactic Basic, which naturally creates a language and social barrier between her and those outside of Umbara
- Small; Due to her age, Nina is small and as such lacking strength, although her fiery nature makes up for such mentally
- Mute; Nina is by definition a mute. She is incapable of verbally speaking and makes only the most gentle of noises to show fear or appreciation. This hinders her communication skills as she can only perform touch-telepathy.
BIOGRAPHY:
Nina was born within the middle caste of Umbara, neither rich or poor, influential nor unimportant. However, that's not to say she had an easy life. At birth the young Umbaran was taken from her parents and put into foster care, on account of her mother's mental state. Demia had already lost one daughter, who had run away, had faced a tough life with her husband, who had himself lost a daughter, and deemed sick of mind. Having Nina and her twin Xavier was the last straw, and two days later Demia was admitted into an observational unit leaving Nina and Xavier in the hands of the Social system. In the end the pair were separated. While her foster family were kind enough it was common knowledge of who she was, and more importantly whose child she belonged to, the name of Vi'dreya having enough stigma attached to it following the 'disappearance' of two Vi'dreya girls, Zarathustra and Kära. Nina began her tuition and training under the watchful eyes of her loving foster family, who taught her touch-telepathy, as Nina had shown little inclination towards verbally speaking, even in her native tongue of Umbarese. But things began to get tough, and the family pressured.
Deciding it best to give the child a fresh start, away from pre-misconceptions, the family moved away. Instead they ended up on the other side of the Shadow World, far from their former neighbours. Here they hoped she could begin anew, but disaster struck shortly after. Her foster Father, who had remained behind to solidify the transition, fell ill, and as such Nina was put into the care of a new family - on the arrangement that her original foster family could reclaim her when he was well once again. This family had heard the story of her past, having dug within the records to learn all they could, and they did not approve. Despite only having four years to her name, Nina did all she could to avoid this new family, an odd trait for one so young, and as such she spent a lot of time outside of the house, roaming the streets like an urchin. She did not understand the changes which had happened, and felt abandoned by those she had grown up calling her parents. But one day the tables turned...
