Description: Sometimes speaking into a comm-device is not the most discreet or preferred method of communication. Being someone who relishes a more covert approach, Kära opted to create a small piece of jewelry, specifically a ring, which could be worn like any usual adornment. Featuring a rudimentary abacus, which is fully functional per Kära's need for purpose in all things, the ring has the capacity to hold up to five communication counters. These are tiny discs of electrum which hold a drop of Kära's blood as well as one other individuals, forged with surprising difficulty due to their size.
When a communication counter is activated, through a Force-based trigger, Kära is able to telepathically communicate with the person whose blood the counter holds, whether they are in the same room or off gallivanting across space. The creation of each new counter requires relatively fresh blood, meaning that it is easier if the donor is willing to relinquish some of their life essence. Ninjen is also much heavier than your average ring, being that the electrum has been alchemised. It can only be used by Kära due to the dual life force found within each counter, however if someone was able to replicate the procedure and add their own counters in place of her own, the ring would be fully functional.
Another issue stands in the fact that should Kära find herself without a spare slot for a counter - being that only five can be used at any given time - she would have to undertake the difficult procedure of extracting and replacing a counter. Because each counter created requires a drop of her blood, and in turn a part of her life essence, making and destroying these counters is very taxing on her person; by destroying one she would be effectively obliterating a tiny part of herself, and while this may not make any noticeable difference to begin with over time it would certainly add up. Thus it would take much deliberation to choose the initial five people she wished to link up with, and even more so to have them replaced.
Naturally, any communication counter that is added will need to have a supporting roleplay thread for the collection of the blood! This submission is purely for the ring itself, which will do nothing more than host the counters.
