Nipping it in the Bud (Bounty on Deathwatch)

Ori'Alor Tal'Verda

Leader of the True Mando'Ade
"Hello." Mand'Alor said, tone pleasant "I have a job Request and bounty for whoever wants to take it."

"I got it recorded, I just need to splice it into the transmission." Alliera said, messing with something on her end of the conversation "Ah, there we go...

Received via Holonet Transmission, originating within Mandalorian Space

By forming his 'deathwatch' and firing on Mandalore Alliera Nakamura in a cowardly fasion, RC 212 has commited an act of sedition and treason, as have any who join or assist him. This act has been deemed unvorgivable by the head of the Mandalorian Gov't, especially so given the history of his meritorious service. Any and all Mandalorians or other such types who join Deathwatch are similarly guilty, for associating with the coward and traitor, and willingly joining him. While considerably less guilty, known collaborators are still on this list, because helping this criminal is a crime in it's own. We would very much like it if you were to return his vessel to Mandalorian Space though, and we will offer a considerable bonus for it's delivery as well as any material there-in. If you are an ex-Deathwatch member who wishes to collect on a bounty, a bonus will be offered to you.

The formal details of our offer are as follows:

  • Target(s): RC 212, Deathwatch Personnel, Known Collaborators
  • Client: Mandalore Alliera Nakamura and the Mandalorian Gov't.
  • Reason: Acts of Sedition.
  • Price: 50,000 credits(RC-212), 25,000 Credits(Deathwatch Members), 15,000(Known Collaborators). +5,000 to ex-Deathwatch Members who see the errors of their ways and turn in bounties. +100,000 for the safe return of his ship and all materials there-in to Mandalorian Custody.
  • Conditions: Dead or Alive.

"Looks like we have something fun for our boys to do." Cira said with a faint smirk. A press of her finger upon the console had the details of the bounty sent to every Fugitive Recovery Specialist they had.

Linna's analysis, available quickly to all leaders of Omega Pyre, was the following:

This is good for us in the following ways:

  • We look good on the galactic stage. These are the same people we fight all the time; this would demonstrate that we don't solely intervene for our own intersts.
  • We kill the Death Watch fast, and they don't destabilize the Mandalorians, allowing a power vacuum which the Sith would fill.
  • We kill the Death Watch fast, and they don't have time to realize that they could form an alliance with the Sith.
  • We give our troops something to do now that our expansion is basically over.
  • The Mandalorians are probably open for an alliance; though I don't think we should let them have one, that desire will enhance their already substantial gratitude for our help.
  • The Death Watch has no friends, for now. Minimal risk.

**Aiden eyed over the message as it came in**
"Never actually ran into the likes of a mando up-close-and-personal....sounds like something that would be right up my alley though."
