Average height, trim. Nira has dark, expressive eyes and skin that is normally a healthy tan complexion. She dresses with a sharp but effortless sense of style and is put-together even when she is out in the field – fashionable and practical. Nira is generally seen with eyeglasses, black-framed or sometimes tortoiseshell.
BIOGRAPHY:
The call of ancient worlds had always entranced Nira. As a young child, she was often found digging in the Chalactan soil in search of treasure. Her interest in archaeology only increased as she got older, and her time spent at University produced a degree in the field. During this time, she was pleased to accompany her professors on various digs. The excitement of explorer life took hold, and Nira saw fit to combine her two passions.
While she worked for her University for a year or two after graduating, she decided to take to her own pursuits. However, without the resources of her school at her disposal, she knew she needed a way to support herself. After taking a rather sizable loan, she was able to open a small gallery of her own. There she displayed works of art, the sort that upscale clients liked to furnish their homes. Though her work as an art dealer certainly paid the bills, it was only a small portion of her plan. As soon as she made enough to purchase her own ship, she did so. She also used her connections built at the gallery to build interest and investment opportunities.
It wasn’t long before Nira was able to fund her own expeditions. Working as a one-woman crew, she excavated a few small ruins and came back with just enough to host an exhibition. It is her hope to expand her gallery into a museum – to display priceless artifacts.
Now that her business has seen an encouraging start, Nira is looking forward to her future adventures. So far, she has been able to fund her next expedition… but she has not been able to make much progress towards paying back her lender. She only hopes that her path will lead her to success as an archaeologist and not to an untimely demise at the hands of a ruthless loan shark…
