- Unspecialized — Although wise and gifted with the Force, Niynx Ioune has always found himself to be unorganized. As a result, his skills are many and varied, though few of them are at all especially impressive. When compared to his Jedi peers, he is neither the strongest nor the fastest. He can neither call himself a master of the blade, nor an ace in the cockpit of a starfighter. While he may call upon the Force for both guidance and physical prowess, he is yet rarely the most resilient among those warriors with which he stands toe-to-toe, nor is he the most well spoken or gregarious in any particular room.
- Emotionally reactive — Despite the rigorous training expected of aspiring Jedi, Niynx Ioune has always struggled to master the flow of his own emotions. Following at the heels of the Jedi as they dispensed their judgement and justice about the galaxy, he's seen the ugly faces of war, dealt with lofty criminals at blaster-point, and held conversation with galactic nobility and the political elite. Niynx is no fool with industrial tools, knows his way around a slicer-spike, and speaks a number of languages conversationally, albeit with limited vocabulary. In an effort to understand the many forms of lightsaber combat, Niynx sacrificed his claim to mastery in any one for a sense of familiarity with them all. With regards to the Force, Niynx has displayed some degree of proficiency with a wide breadth of techniques, including but not limited to healing, empathy, persuasion, and even battle meditation.

Jedi Padawan Niynx Ioune is a comparatively slight, male bodied Kiffar with all the bristling and unfocused energy of most other fourteen year old, humaniod Jedi Padawans. Ever on the verge of a growth spurt which never seems to come, Niynx hides his spindly body beneath the heavy robes of Jedi tradition and grandeur. Standing at just above 5 ft. 4 inches, Niynx's quiet passion and keen intellect appears most effective when attracting the attentions of noncommittal though adoring Knights and Masters, rather than the embrace of popularity among those his age. He maintains an unkempt, shaggy head of hair and wears his emotions most plainly on his face, where all can see. Other than his somewhat disarming, heterochromatic gaze, there is very little remarkable or noteworthy about Niynx. Because of this, he's discovered the niche ability to fit in with street urchins and high society alike, harvesting an adaptability which often provides an alternative to fighting. Despite his Kiffarian heritage, Niynx was never marked with the cultural, golden tattoos of his people on account of the somewhat unique circumstances of his parentage.
BIOGRAPHY:
Soft spoken and aloof as a temple youngling, Niynx was orphaned as a babe and delivered to the Jedi on Coruscant for safe keeping. Niynx's talent with the Force was soon thereafter made manifest to his new Jedi guardians, and so they decided that he would remain within the Temple and be trained beneath their tutelage in order that he might one day become a Jedi Knight himself, protector of Peace and Order within the galaxy. Like this he trained through the formative years of his middle childhood, first constructing, then honing his skills with the Jedi's lightsaber; his the bright emerald glow of an aspiring Consular.
Master La T'vil, a Devaronian with a taste for mischief and danger, selected Niynx to be her Padawan three days past his eighth year. Together, they left Coruscant and embarked upon the journey of Jedi, discovering the secrets of the Force and shedding light into even the darkest reaches of the most remote worlds. As a specialist in infiltration and counter-intelligence, La T'vil used her talents with the Force to expose and expunge the criminal webs of entrenched smuggler lords, slavers, and powerful syndicate tyrants. A Consular herself, La T'vil preferred to work undercover when possible and insisted upon inhabiting the galaxy's seedier and more dangerous establishments in pursuit of bigger fish. In the following years, Niynx learned a great many skills and developed a knack for working under deep-cover; a skill which sometimes asked even that he compromise the carefully cultivated morality of the Jedi's teachings. Then, as if all at once, an op spun off the hyper-lanes and Master La T'vil was killed. Masterless anew, Niynx found himself once more at the whims of fate and the Will of the Force.
