STRENGTHS
- Pack Mentality: The Nizioti Class Interceptor is controlled by a droid brain, capable of communicating at incredible speeds with other vessels in its squadron. This allows the Nizioti to use advanced squadron tactics against enemy targets, and work in coordination beyond what most biological pilots can do.
- Strafing: Despite having incredibly high speeds, Nizioti Class Interceptors have not been designed to cope with that speed. For the interceptor to make sharp turns, it must drastically reduce its speed. If it remains at high speed, it is unable to make tactical evasive turns and becomes an easy target for defense cannons.
The Nizioti Class Interceptor was designed for use by the Lords of the Sith for two purposes. The first, to act as a standard interceptor for the Lords of the Sith, and create a reliable and numerous starfighter model to flesh out their combat fleets. The secondary purpose, and their primary intention, is use as in system defense craft. Lacking a biological crew, the Nizioti Class Interceptors can be deployed in deep space for months at a time with little support or maintenance required. When enemy ships drop out of hyperspace near several squadrons of Nizioti Class Interceptors laying in wait, they are able to come online and launch an immediate attack, potentially crippling enemy vessels in the critical transition time from hyperspace to normal space.
