No Fences Here! [Open to all but parents]

Stealth! That is what it takes to escape. Théo had managed to evade the watchful eye of his parents and crawled out of their private quarters here in the Temple. There is simply to much noise and things going on around here for him to sit idol and do nothing. He had to go and find out what all the fuss was.

Making his way down the corridor, he crawled to the turbo lifts, nothing, the doors remained closed, odd that, he had been in them before and knew the doors open but not for him. Well he did not give up that easy, Theo turned for the vast stairs.

It was slow going, taking each step backwards, but saves the tumbles in the end and eventually he made his destination, the main hall of the Silver Temple, where in the middle is the large blue rock. He liked the rock (crystal) it felt good and it reminded him of his father's eyes.

Hands and knees padded across the marble floor, that felt good too and he stopped to place his face against the cool surface. The little explorer, noticed the open doors that led outside, the light of day beckoning him as did the animals that sounded their calls in the trees near by.

Would he make it? well he hoped so....

Her head hurt as the healer groaned. The bowels of the temple gave way to dim light in her room and Cathbodua rubbed a hand against her stubble. The short hairs rough and scratchy for a moment as one of the assistants came in. "Master it is time for your treatment." She groaned not wanting to move and not wanting to go through it while the supplements were in the IV.

Cath slowly rose up holding the needle in her arm as the young girl changed the line to give her a fresh bag that went back to being on a leash behind her. She was able to move and preform most essential duties while he was pushing forward with her hands on the table. They had pushed and given her a private room for her own use but right now she was walking.

"I don't want to do it." Her eyes were glassed over with her sickness and while her sight was going she still had the force. Poor eyesight and bad nightvision, her skin getting something to strengthen it so she could actually have some sun touch the pale skin. With her lab coat on the jedi doctor left her full bodysuit on a rack and began walking the ground of the temples with her teeth grinding.

Coming around and getting some looks while she still struggled from the meds and from the exposure. Her skin felt like a nerve. Her veins showing under the pale skin and with its hypersensitivity to the sun light she was still avoiding it directly. She had her coiled lightwhip on her hip under the coat as she continued going forward. "What is that?" Her eyes were bad but she could still see something on the floor that she was moving over towards with one hand gripping the hanging IV.

A sense of triumph began to fill Théo, as the large door way to the outside world grew bigger before him. He even started to giggle at his impending victory. Freedom!

And that is when a shadow crossed his path and he stopped bewildered to what may have caused it. Looking up, he saw a tall woman dragging along some kind of shiny stick, this intrigued him and so he stopped. Pushing his body back he lifted up and sat firmly on his rump, legs stretched before him.

Odd looking woman, she is white all over, save for her hair or what he could make of it, it is black like his and his mums. But something felt funny to him, he had got an odd feeling from her, sadness. He tilted his heading regarding her more and wondered why she is so sad.

His little voice, offered her the word in the form of a question, "Sad?".

"Perceptive." She said it while moving quicker. Her body coming down first to kneel next to the two year old and then sit while the IV dropped down with her. Sometimes computers could be very nice for eliminating small mistakes. She rubbed a hand over her head feeling the scratchy texture of it then was looking over the child. It was humanish, those eyes and pale skin were more natural looking then self imposed.

Then there was it being a baby here that the medical team didn't seem to know about which meant it was either just arrived. Or private affair from somewhere, that one of the other healers had seen. Disappointing but she wasn't the more personable compared to many so not getting information was a fact of life. She did offer a smile though while sitting down near him while she tapped a finger on the floor.

"I am curious about you little one." She wasn't going to over think sitting on the floor of a temple talking to a two year old... That would ruin the illusion of it being something sane while her brown eyes looked on with some of the milky glaze. A small smirk though as she spoke more. "Like where you came from."

[member="Cathbodua"] ((not in the medical bay but the main hall of the Temple, not sure in your post as to where you think we are, sorry))

He heard the words well enough but did not understand them, the lady was speaking to him, and she sat down near him. He looked at her curiously her eyes had him intrigued and he still sensed the sadness or was it sickness, something was not well with the lady.

He pushed up and crawled closer to sit beside her and placed a small hand on her nearest leg, looking up at the long pole that came with her. Théo knew where he was from, he understood that much, and he also knew he would be missed soon enough. Time was running out! If he is to make it outside he would have to move soon.

"..winter", he uttered just audible. He refers to Midvinter.

Winter... Cath's eyebrow raised up while she looked at the little one now and spoke. "A big word but is that your name? Or where you came from?" She was thinking it strange to name a child winter but then she was supposedly named after her mothers childhood pet... There were stranger things while she sat there searching more in the force then with her own sight on the boy. Wondering if maybe there was some imprint of his parents.

Nothing she could find so easily but staying there for the moment while she looked on. Starring at those blue eyes and speaking. "So where were you headed in such a rush?" She doubted the child would be able to converse with her such a great deal but she could figure out more about him from everything he was trying to do. Maybe he'd lead her to answers or he'd lead her into the mess hall for pudding.... fifty fifty chance either way.

Théo reached into his pocket of his clothes and removed a small carving of a creature of Midvinter, "Winter", he showed her the wooden carving by way of illustration. It is a beautiful carving of an Älk made for him by his father [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and full of detail including the fine work on the animals coat.

He looked up into her face, and smiled, "Théo", he said close enough for her to understand his name. Then he pointed toward the doors and the outside world. Still very much his destination and soon her would be off once more to explore what lay beyond those impressive doors.

She was looking at him then the figurine for a moment. Eyes less impressive since she couldn't see the finer detail but the direction he wanted to go was clear as she spoke. "That is not always a good direction... and sadly harmful to ones in my condition." She looked at him while motioning with her head while she did feel some regret. Might be able to be out of a bodysuit but UV light would still damage her skin more. A hand went over her hair as she felt it for a moment and looked outside. Even with her eyes as damaged as they were she could see the light.

Théo could not understand why the lady feared the sun light, to him it just looked inviting and signalled the outside world. Not that his parents kept him in doors all the time, that would far from the truth as they all spend as much time in among the natural world then anything. He also did not understand what she meant by condition, although he thought it might have something to do with the long shiny stick she seemed to cling to.

He stood up, using her shoulder to support this body and placed his hand on her head, he had noticed she kept running her head, and so with the wonder of curiosity he wanted to feel it too. He did not place his hand hard but more so had the soft hands of a child's skin and the rubbed her head.

Feeling the prickly nature of the hair, he would it surprisingly familiar, considering he always plays with his father's beard. "Papa", he said by way of explaining the sensation. Then he stopped and looked around, oh the world looks good from up here on his feet and so he tried to test his luck once more and took a step to the side, only to tumble to the hard surface of the temple floor. He did not hurt himself, in fact he is getting used to this, but still he feels the bit of frustration.

When he touched her head that was surprising... then he was tumbling and even she couldn't deny her reaction. Reaching to try and catch him... He wasn't hers but a kid falling you reached out.. Even old ones who were crotchety in their ways towards most people.... She moved though as he seemed fine and looked at him now kind of squatting instead of sitting. "Well you are tougher then some padawans at least." She actually gave a smile to that though compared to most looks she gave.
