Patricia made her way to Arakyd's secondary foundry a few hundred kilometers away from the now ruined facility the Rebellion had seen fit to ion bomb with her still inside of it, if it wasn't for droids constructing a faraday cage around her should of been dead. That was something she was really really not happy with, that the rebels had thrown her under the bus after she had helped defend their lives from the last Invasion the Techno Union had brought to their doors. But Patricia was a business woman and she wasn't going to let the loss of one facility get her down, there were still dozens on the planet and even though the largest had been lost she still intended on completing her orders that her boss had left her with.

So she was pissed at both the Techno Union and the Rebellion, they were both going to have a very fun time of trying to convince her that they had the best intentions in mind. Upon reaching the second facility a small group of Geonosians approached her and she eyed them with a death glare that could chill their little ichor filled bodies.

"Begin the fortifications, do it now or so help me I will end you-" Patricia looked at herself and what she was saying then took a long hard sigh to refresh herself.

"I'm sorry, it's just been a long day. Please start the fortification process and have the workers start digging the foundation." she said with a more calm voice.

A nearby protocol droid translated her words and the Geonosians nodded and flew off to gather more workers. The techno union had killed an innocent man, they killed someone who wanted peace for his people. But when you were war mongering sith who dropped ship yards on your own civilians one could understand how one life was meaningless to them when you killed millions. But the rebels hands were far from clean in this, they had tried to kill her best intentions or not, and they had possibly injured hundreds of workers at the facility. These were dark days for the woman trying to stay in the light while supporting a family, she didn't want things to end like this. She felt hatred, rage, anger, was this the darkside of the force?

Solan looked at her, having been outside the blast range of the ion bomb and really not caring for the sith anyways so he was content with going back to doing what he came here to do. "Hey there Garter, hows it going. You ok?" He waved as he moved his way through the people gathered and working, walking up with the dumb grin he so often wore and crossing his hands behind him as he smiled. "Certainly a nice day don't you agree, really a shame though that there are bombs going off and Arrogance in the wind. I can still smell it from here. So disgusting of a smell that its amazing i dont toss up my lunch already." His hand came down to grab at the datapad at his side until he smiled. "Now, where can my legion and the fleet i brought with me help?"

Patricia walked over to the secondary foundry doors, a massive building on a level field of barren dirt. It didn't have the canyon like Patricia wanted in the first building but it was going to have to suffice. She walked over to the foundry doors and sat in the archway of the massive doors with her back to the wall and her knees sucked up towards her chest, she placed her face in the palm of her hands and started to cry. It was all just so overwhelming for the little blonde, she had only been doing her job in all of this. She had only wanted to make sure that people were safe and that facilities could be maintained even through war.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" she said as she banged her head back against the wall and let out a soft choking sob.

The workers began to flood the skies batting their wings, they were still under the payroll of Arakyd industries and the Rebels nationalizing things wasn't going to change all that much. They would have to come here and force change if they wanted to get in the way of this operation. But regardless Patricia wanted to just do her job. The storm of insects flooded down with various digging tools and began to start digging a deep trench around the facility about a two hundred meters radius. Patricia just remained in that archway crying and feeling the weight of the galaxy pressing down around her, not knowing who she could trust.

Solan walked up to her and she just continued to cry. She didn't even know if he could be trusted, he was a rebel and they had just thrown her under the bus.

"No it's not fething ok!"

He sighed and glanced around him as she said that before walking forward with his hand coming down on her shoulder, his eyes filled with concern that fell into his voice as well. "Patricia... What happened just now is not worth any of this... come on. Think about your work right now... yes the first foundry got destroyed... and the Sith somehow survived it. Not that I really understand or care how. But you are alive." He paused and glanced up as he thought about it and sighed. "I don't quite understand why they did what they did... at all to tell the truth. But keep in mind Patricia i will find out if not because you were involved simply because the act was not needed while you were inside the facility. So how about you just... tell me whats going through your mind right now while i assign my men to help where they can. We can talk while we work. Ok?"

"The rebels just nationalized everything, I might as well pack up and go home but I'm here following orders. My boss completely undermined me and almost got me killed! The rebels just fired on my position and the techno union just tried to kill me! So yeah I'm a little upset right now that everyone saw it fit to try and kill me for doing my job!" she said with acid then kept herself calm.

Looking up at solan her puffy red eyes looked at him for a moment then over to the landscape. The Geonosians were digging the main trench for the foundation of the wall, she wanted to make sure that they had something to lay down a solid wall on. But there were other things going on that the shadow legion could be doing right now. So Patricia looked over to her friend and stood up slowly.

"Get your boys to call in hades class cruisers Queen Bee and Coyote Hustler. Tell them to bring packages Beta and Gamma in. My data pad is fried so I can't right now. Access codes Victor One Alpha Foxtrot." she gave solan his orders for his men then looked back to the workers

They were tugging along moving massive amounts of dirt. Thousands of the hive mind like creatures all buzzing around and getting down to business, it was nice to see something being built rather than torn down for once. There had been enough death for one day and she wasn't going to allow any one else to be killed.

"The Rebels can certainly be a bit extreme.. but they are still my friends and companions. Trust me, after the display i just witnessed im not too keen about things either but loyalty of a dog you might say befits me." He smiled as she seemed to get a bit better, his eyes staring at his friend and nodding as the hand dropped down to grab a datapad and he started working through it before hooking up a link through the comms to the ships still above holding Yusan and Solan's Shadow Legion. "Just got orders from ground control here, bring in the packages Beta and Gamma from the Queen Bee and the Hustler. Transferring the clearance codes... now."

He would wait for confirmation before nodding and changing the frequency to an encrypted channel for the Shadow Legion and only it. "Legionnaires, i want a perimeter set up, no rebels or Techno freaks or otherwise are to enter the build site. Bring in some Battle Dragons into atmospheric flight if you have to. Just don't go and let things get all testy again. We are not dropping bombs on this site. Oh and if anyone tries to enter this zone, inform me before you just shoot them. Really don't need friendly fire added to the events that happened today.... again." He sighed and looked at Patricia before snapping. "Thats what i can call you, Eagle. Been trying to figure out what fits you best... or maybe a Finch..." His hand came to his chin as he looked at her.

"Get ready to see something cool." Patricia said as she sniffled a bit and used her forearm to wipe her nose.

Now standing with solan she looked up into the sky and two figures boomed out of hyper space with a wide gap between them, they were Patricia's personal hades class cruisers Queen Bee and Coyote Hustler, but that wasn't what was coming. Patricia smirked and soon there was a thunderous clap that rang out into the atmosphere and a massive two thousand meter ship shot between the two ships.

"Welcome Hive Mind come on down and we'll get started on the process." Patricia said with a soft smile on her face.

The three ships broke atmosphere giving all the proper clearance codes, since it was geonosis battle Dreadnaught it was welcome on the planet to their people. It was a symbol of hope for them and it was something Arakyd Industries provided for the people, the rebels were wrong to nationalize things and Patricia was still willing to work with them on certain terms now.

He stared and smiled at the ship that appeared to him, his eyes wide and his grin more than obvious as he clapped his hands and couldn't help himself but stare at the thing hungrily. "Patricia, you have been holding out on little old me. Where in the world did you find that thing?" He looked at her and laughed as his expression changed instantly to one of curiosity and he couldn't help it but be interested in the design of such a craft. Sure it was to become a fortress rather than an actual ship, but the promise that thing held in it was something if not a very interesting project. "Also, you are a show off Patricia, you know that right?"

VV7-Q0Z was never a construction droid, so he wasn't gonna make things...ever. He was inside the same shuttle [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] came down in, but was not active when she was nearly killed. He left the shuttle, wandering around, looking for both [member="Solan Charr"] and Patricia, knowing they are both in the near vicinity "I hope Miss Patricia is ok...this doesn't seem like the best place for her to go alone in" As VV7-Q0Z rolled around the somewhat large construction site, some Geonosians started opening fire at him, and they sent out a security alert, along with VV7-Q0Z letting out his own distress signal.

It was a beautiful sight really, Arakyd industries was indeed a good company and the rebels had wronged them. But now this was about more than the rebels now, this was about the feud that was going to go down between the Rebellion and the Techno Union, innocent people were being caught in the middle of this and Patricia was not about to let Arakyd be booted off this planet by her friends or by the Techno Union, they tried to kill her. The union tried to kill someone who was simply doing their job and they murdered a geonosian elder for no reason other than to watch him die. So Patricia would make them both pay if she could, she'd inform Isley of what was going on though. She didn't want to walk into another blind spot and cross her boss. Grabbing her spare data logger out of the trunk of her shuttle she slipped it on and began to ping her boss [member="Isley Verd"]

"The Techno Union tried to kill me when I asked them to leave, the rebellion fired on our main foundry with ion bursts. I barely made it out alive, the asset is lost but I'm here at our secondary foundry to turn it into a full blown military base that will function as our primary headquarters here on geonosis. The rebellion is starting to pose a larger problem though, I'm going to reach out to them to see if we can make sure our assets are no longer nationalized. I'd rather this not end it a fight, just get back to me with orders sir. Garter out." Patricia placed her logger at her side then turned back to solan.

The massive Dreadnaught touched down next to the foundry about two hundred meters away and Patricia smiled at her friend then spoke.

"Only a little." she teased at him then began to walk with solan towards the Dreadnaught

"The workers should be just about done digging the foundation. Here's what I need you to do, I need your men to go inside and start removing the non combat equipment. Start by disabling the shield generators and engines and we'll cut our way to you taking it piece by piece." the woman said formulating a plan of attack for the ship

She then turned it her friend [member="VV7-0QZ"] and smiled at the little droid.

"I'm ok VV, stick with me and we'll try and get these Geonosians to start building this wall." she said to the little droid

Miss Blonde

The geonosian workers flew towards the marvelous piece of technology, a bit outdated for newer ships but it was going to get the job done. The base was going to be roughly four hundred meters in a square shape. So they would need to cut the place down into sections and the way the ship was built a single of it's massive arms would be more than enough to actually build the outer wall. The durasteel and rock combination providing a very sturdy defense against turbo lasers not to mention the shield generators. So Patricia would see to it that the whole ship was going to be put to use. A single geonosian worker flew next to Patricia and she used her logger to communicate with foreman.

"Have your workers remove the front right arm, after that start cutting pieces that are a hundred meters in length. Those are going to be are walls." she said firmly to the geonosian

The bug saluted then fluttered away to go take care of the orders Patricia had given him. The Geonosians were a very resourceful people and they knew how to get work done. They began to swarm the forward right arm at it's junction point and the eighty thousand workers were taking plasma torches, saws, anything they could to separate the arm from the ship. She had to hand it to them they knew how to build.

Miss Blonde

A good hour or so passed and Patricia could start to hear various groaning sounds coming from the distance, the ship's arm was starting to give out. They had sawed through the front half of the junction and were now going to town on the back half to let it fall without crushing them like the actual bugs they were. So Patricia just waited and in a few minutes there was a massive snapping noise then the sound of a heavy mechanical groan. The arm came off and had a swift tumble to the ground before there was a deafening crash. The sound was like that of a skyscraper collapsing beneath itself and crushing down beneath it's own tremendous weight.

A billow of dust expanded outward and past over the little gang of people. She kept her hands up and covered her eyes as the dust began to settle down to the earth, Patricia let out a sigh of relief and looked over to the trenches that now shaped in a box formation of around four hundred meters worth of bare earth. It was time to get to filling, the trenches were certainly deep enough to accommodate the walls the ship would be donating, now they had to move those chunks of earth and metal to the foundry. And that's what the hades were for with their tractor beams.

"Let's see them start carving." Patricia said with a smile then looked over to another passing worker.

Miss Blonde

The geonosian workers were swarming the first back section of the fallen arm, cutting through the first layer of rock. Patricia was excited to say the least, she wished she had workers like this on her other ventures and then she realized something. Even though Arakyd was probably going to pull out of the system they still produced these rock cruisers and they were pretty freaken awesome. But Patricia had other things to do, and that was focus on this job which was going on right now. She put her hands behind her head and took a deep breath to relax herself, things with the rebels had not gone well at all but she hoped that the situation was going to go better.

As for the job at hand after another hour or two the Geonosians had cut through the first hundred meter section of the arm, so it was time up get the ships in action. Lifting up her logger she switched on the comm unit patch and started to send a message to the ships still above head.

"Coyote Hustler pick up that rock and place it In the slot, afterwards we'll cement it into place and set up the reinforcements for it." Patricia said through the comm and it was made so.

The ships lifted the hundred meter slab of durasteel and rock and quickly hovered it over to it's appropriate slot that was dug out of the earth. The ships settled it in slowly and the first wall was now in place. Using large construction machines the geonosian workers began to place steel bracers in both sides of the wall and fill the trench with concrete to fill in those gaps. It was the best way to make it stable after all and capable of taking a hit. Now it was time to repeat the process with slab number two

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
It was time to get smarter about this, they were going to be here for a long time if they didn't do something about the way they were building, so that meant Patricia had to divide up the workers to get things done faster. She whistled sharply and one of the worker castes fluttered down towards her, a foreman by the looks of his set up, that was good she needed to spread the word among the hive quickly. So she looked to the bug and spoke with her translator going off as well, so the two could communicate.

"Have your teams split into four. I want one here putting bracers on the wall, I want the other three cutting individual pieces off of the wall in hundred meter intervals. We are going to drag and drop them here. Now go take care of it please." she said with a smile towards the worker.

The foreman fluttered off again and started to direct his men, but luckily just in time the second piece from the ship was cut and was ready to be moved. The trench was filled with wet concrete and the piece was ready to be dropped in it. So the hades cruisers lifted the piece off the ground with their tractor beams and tugged it over to the trench to set it down nice and easy. Patricia watched the team finish up placing the bracers on the first wall and now they were moving on to the second to set up the steel braces that were unloaded from the hades class cruisers.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
The bars were going up on the second wall and Patricia had received word that the third wall was ready to be picked up and placed down in the trench that was being filled with wet concrete. This was indeed good news and of seemed they were chugging along well, they would get these walls up on the first day thanks to advanced technology and to be frank it was much easier than simply putting up walls the old fashioned way. So Patricia got on her comm and started to speak into it.

"Bring in the next wall and ready the bracers from the ships." Patricia said to the team then watched everything unfold.

The wall was picked up by the coyote hustler and quickly placed down in the trench dug out by the thousands of geonosian workers. It settled in nice then like clockwork the teams of workers on the ground started to put up the bracers on the wall. Setting up the massive durasteel support beams a few more hades class cruisers boomed into the atmosphere and began to unload more supplies and bracers for the walls. This plan had been on the books for a while and even though this was designed for the main facility this would have to suffice.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
More and more bracers went up on the walls and they would stay there and be part of the facility forever. Or at least until it was knocked down or time took it back. Either or, it wasn't Patricia's problem as they were likely to pull out of the place anyway. So she just didn't want to leave a job half done. The woman watched the bracers on walls one and two wrap up and many hours had gone by in the process, but being the person that she was she wanted to make sure they were taken care of. Whether the rebels claimed this as a foothold or whatever she was at peace with the choices made by everyone, and she'd deal with it no matter what came her way. So she sighed and just say back against the facility doors as the walls were being put up around her. Tall and massive seventy meters worth of durasteel and rock, certainly enough to keep out the rest of the world.

"Bring in the final piece then start installing the turbo lifts and salvaging the guns." Patricia said to her team on the comms and made sure everything was taken care of.

So the hades class lifted the last hundred meter slab together and set it down in the massive we concrete filled trench. They continued to hold it as the walls came up around her and the bracers on both sides pinned the walls together. But that wasn't the best part of it. Patricia was going to make sure there were only three ways in or out of this facility, and that was either through air and two sets of underground tunnels so if this place was attacked they could collapse the tunnels on the enemy and give them no way to get Inside besides bashing a wall down or coming in through the air, and with a particle shield being installed it would make sure bombers could sod off on that front.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
With the walls up and the bracers being set Patricia sighed and looked to her radio. They had to install some turbo lifts and start carving out the turrets on the walls. Ten turbo lasers on each side every ten meters. It would suffice nicely and they could blow the hell out of whoever was coming towards them. But it was time to start getting down to business when it came to digging, carving, and building the turbo lifts. Patricia started to have the teams of workers salvage the turbo lifts from the Dreadnaught, they would be back with them shortly. As for what was going on now, they needed to set up the tunnels to get in and out of the facility. With the bracers up and the concrete hardening Patricia had thirty thousand drones split into two teams and start creating a series of tunnels that would go under the walls and to the other side of the foundry. One on the north side of the facility and the other on the south side.

It would be as if walking through a geonosian hive with their series of complex tunnels, Patricia made sure the workers documented everything so that they could have a map on which ways were accessible and which ways weren't. She'd later have that map digitized so it could be spread among personnel, didn't want anyone to get lost now. But while the workers were off doing that the team sent from the ship had returned from the Hive Mind with the lifts it had throughout.

"Start setting up, we'll need at least two on every wall." she said to her radio and the workers started the process

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Patricia let out a soft sigh seeing that their job was coming to an end, the ships coyote hustler and queen bee were seeing to the salvaging of the guns off of the Hive Mind. Forty turbo lasers and forty point defense lasers. The rebellion would see to it they could put up some E web blasters on the walls. But speaking of the walls the Geonosians Patricia had dispatched earlier were carving away, they didn't have to be pretty or ornate like a castle. They just needed to be functional to walk on, and that's exactly what they were, functional. They were just about done carving through rock and a smoothish path was set up for the people who would be walking back and forth on that madness.

"Start setting up the turbo lasers, and the point defense lasers. The turbo lifts will be coming online soon and we can move on to installing the shield generators. Patricia said with a sigh afterwards just wanting this day to come to an end so she could crawl in bed with Jarven.

The guns were being removed from the ship and now being carried by the cruisers tractor beams. Patricia just watched as each laser was picked up by smaller tugs then gently placed down on the walls. The turbo lasers would need to be hooked up and loaded but it would have to suffice, like she had thought earlier it really wasn't her problem whatsoever. But she had received and update from her data logger that they had just finished the tunnels bellow. This was good news indeed.

Solan walked back up and looked around as the fortifications were coming along in quite quick fashion. His eyes running over it all and looking at the tech team with him as he began to give out his own orders. "Ok men, i needed a tech team in every one of those turrets, demolitions, i need to know the weak points in which someone could exploit and you guys know those better than anyone. Shore them up and reinforce them if you can. Medics, i need a medical and infirmary, built up on the inside of the fort, two if possible. With the full range of treatment capabilities if you can... we aren't a hospital mind you, but if it can save a man's life ill pay for it. Snipers and Anti Tank weapons, you guys find the best places for emplacements for your specialties and relay them through me, i will have specific defenses set up in order for you all to do your job. Now get to it..." He sighed and watched them scatter before looking at PAtricia with a wide grin. "Hey there, had to get a drink, working hard still i see."

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
It had been many hours since they started and it was time to get everything done, thankfully everything was pre fabricated so it was essentially just building up a massive puzzle you had directions to. So Patricia was thankful this wasn't going to be a job that would take months of building up walls by hand. The woman watched as the defenses went up and were placed along the walls. Ten turbo lasers for each section. One every ten meters, with a point defense laser between those for aircraft and missiles. Patricia would be sure to set up E-webs later but for now this would suffice. The defenses were set up and now it was time to salvage the particle shield generator and ray shield generator from the ship. From what she had been told Solan's team had been handling that and they were ready to be sucked out of the ship.

"Place the generators on the roof and link them to the facilities generators. Patricia said to her radio then made sure it was taken care of.

Patricia watched as Queen bee and Coyote Hustler zapped the shield generators out of the Hive Mind where the legionaries had cleared a space at. So Patricia was excited this was almost done. And what was even better the turbo lasers were set up as well as the turbo lifts. They were all ready to go and they could get everything going. The ships placed the large shield generators on the roof of the foundry and it seemed like they were ready to start the final step of tuning the machines to get them to work properly.
