- Distinctions:
- Males: Often smaller and more muscular, making them a little slower but stronger. They also do not have a white under belly. Very hyperactive and playful
- Females: Bigger in size and longer feathers but more of a sleek build, making them faster but less strength. They have a white under belly. More calm and elegant
- Young: Start out as a Silver like marble patterned egg. When hatched their feathers are very fluffy but too weak to fly.

Strengths:
- Capable of flight - flys almost silently, thanks to the fringed and serrated feathers on the leading edge of the wings that muffle the sound of air passing.
- Silent - The structure of the feathers of the Noctua causes a very near silent sounds for hunting swoops.
- Apex predator
- Night Vision - The eyes of the Noctua have large pupils and corneas that gather light very effectively.
- Hearing - Noctua have extremely sensitive ears and can hear up to 10 times better than humans can. Noctua needs this ability to help them find prey that they cannot see with their keen eyes. they can hear animals scurrying around on the ground, even under thick snow. The unique hearing system of Noctua allows them to pinpoint the location of even the faintest sounds. Their ears are not lined up symmetrically like those of most creatures. Having ears that are not lined up even with one another allows the owl to determine precisely from where a sound is coming. When an Noctua hears something that gets its attention, it turns its head left and right and up and down until it homes in on the sound.
- Noctua faces are shaped elliptically, like a satellite dish. This facial shape and its facial feathers, focus sounds directly on the Noctua's ears. The elliptical face and offset ears of a Noctua work together to form a highly sensitive and precise hearing system.
- Eye shape - Unlike the eyes of most creatures, Noctua eyes are more flat than spherical in shape. As a result of this adaptation, Noctua has essentially given up the ability for eye movement. Their eyes are fixed in place by a bony structure called a sclerotic ring. As a result, they have to turn their heads to move their eyes. However, Noctua can turn their heads around far enough to see directly behind them. The total range of head rotation for its species is 270°.
- Taming - These Creatures are extremely difficult to break in and tame, and once caught they require a lot of bonding with them, or else they will possibly assault their captor in attempts to kill them. It requires a very strong bond before the creature will fully trust a being.
- Damage to flight feathers - If there becomes extensive damage to the flight wings the Noctua will be unable to fly for up to six or more months.

The Noctua only raise their young for the first month after hatching, This is generally when their feathers start hardening and are capable of flight. During that month the male watches over the nest while the female goes out hunting for food. Although if prey is scarce and little edible fruits to gain nutrition the mother will make sure to take care of her needs before the rest. That is because it is important she keeps up the energy in hopes to be successful the next time.
When it comes to mating seasons the male uses its hoots to try and attract a female, although that is only the first part. Females are often very judgmental in terms of appearance and attitude. This means they are colours and their plumage has to be to the females liking. However the attitude is the hard part for males most of the time, this is because of their hyperactivity and being generally playful and energetic. Females often try to go for males that are as close to calm as they are. This means playful females will likely go for playful males and calm females will go for much calmer males.
The Noctua are known predators against smaller prey and often will attack non, semi, and sentient creatures for food. Once a Male makes a nest they often claim that area as their territory until they have mated with a female. Any other time they explore the world they reside in always in search for a better place for hunting grounds or places to rest inbetween. In terms of sleep patterns these creatures are fairly strange in their natural cycles out in the wild. They are mostly awake and active during the low light periods of day cycles and takes a small rest during the darkest hours of night times. During mating seasons the males become more diurnal for easier hunting.
The Noctua that have become tamed or formed a bond with, their actions and personalities slowly mimic their partner. For those who are often committing deads widely seen as good the beast understand the actions and in itself become softer and gentle with the things around it. Those who often experience fighting besides their partners tend to become more fierce and courageous. As for those who have masters of a more darker nature, the nature of the noctua will reflect it. Like most of anything that exists environment and connections shape its character.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Noctua originated on Vanquo back in the time of the old republic. Its natural home was mostly forests and mountainous terrains. Its choice of prey was often smaller creatures it was confident killing often smaller herbivores or scavengers. While they are not on top of the food chain these animals are fearsome predators. However this creature may be scary on first approach they are highly intelligent for what many mistake for a simple creature.
This intelligence stemmed from the creatures inert tallent to comprehend speech. While many are left guessing what these creatures are trying to gesture, they can strangely understand you. Perhaps this is the reason some chose or submitted to partners/masters and lead their species to live out in remote places around the galaxy.
Vanquo Perhaps has the largest concentration of these animals, where they roam the wilds freely or came to interact with the large colony of mandalorians who live in Darasuum Yaim. However the second largest colony of these creatures can be found near the opposite end of the galaxy. Just like Vanquo the world is also not so know and its name lost to current history.
Since the colonization of Vanquo by the mandalorians of Clan Solus these animals have even been bred and tamed into companionship. The people find their cute dominer makes for a good loyal friend. Hunters and Warriors have also trained with its natural abilities to take to the air and fight alongside them out in the wild.
