Okay, I don't know how to send mass messages to everyone, so this is all I can do at the moment for this. But with [member="Mantic Dorn"] stepping down, it's time for people to volunteer as tribute--I mean nominate themselves or someone else for his position.

This won't be the thread for platforms. That'll be a bit later. This is just to see what interest is there. If you are nominated by someone and don't want the position, please let it be known. I'll leave this open until the weekend.

Also, only people with GR characters should be nominated. Can't have a Sith Lord or something running the Republic....lol

Thanks, but I don't wish to be nominated. I had enough nights with lack of sleep over the invasion that was forced on me as soon as Mantic went on vacation. That proves to me that I can't handle the stress. So I'd rather it go to someone else that can.

I could get behind [member="Reshmar"]. In talking with other prominent peeps from various factions, Reshmar was one of the names that came up as a suitable FO for the Republic.

Having been a part of the IR, with another character, when Caius was the FO I can say he was by the far the hardest working and most reasonable person to ever hold the position.

After talking with a couple of people, I'd like to toss my name in. I've helped with a few Republic things as Jorus since I got back off my LOA, and I'd be comfortable reactivating and committing to this alt (three-term Republic Senator of Eshan, post count affected by the November '13 wipe). I've got oodles of successful FO experience and I've negotiated and mediated 46265627 invasions. Seeing what folks have written - [member="Reshmar"], [member="Lady Kay"], [member="Suravi Teigra"] - it seems like the Republic's tired of taking hits, but willing to dig in their heels and push. If you'd like someone new in your corner to help shoulder the load...
