Obsidian for covering parts of the built in air tanks
Description: Originally, Vargent Nordii's sever asthma prevented her from functioning properly. She'd be out of breath much faster then the other padawans, and there were some climates she couldn't even breathe in. So her parents, fearing for her future career, asked Cozzell Corporation to create a special suit for her. It cost plenty of money, but the end result was well worth the cost.

The Nordii Jedi Armor (NJA) is constructed mainly of Duraplast and Plasteel, giving a moderate amount of protection from blaster bolts. However, the suit's main function is to supply Vargent with oxygen. So the plating is considerably thinner, as it's only partially meant for combat.

Smaller plates of obsidian cover two oxygen tanks hooked onto the back of the suit. The tanks hold a maximum amount of twelve hours of oxygen. Tubes from the tanks reach into the suit, come back up and attach directly to Vargent's face (eliminating the need to constantly wear the helm). In addition, the tanks can be removed and moved to other systems or Varge's oxygen cart.

More info on the oxygen: Due to Varge's cruddy lungs, she needs to be hooked up to a separate oxygen source to make sure her body takes in enough oxygen. Most of the time she's hooked up to a breath mask, a small tank strapped to either her belt or back. This suit won't replace the breath mask, simply give an alternative for combat situations or when the climate is especially rough. The oxygen deliverance system works similarly to the oxygen carts given to RL cancer patients. A nose piece is attached to Varge's face, two thin pieces sitting in her nostrils. Small tubes lead from the nose piece back and down to the oxygen container. A mechanism delivers the air to Varge, assisting her in breathing. Not wishing for others to see this, the face piece is usually covered partially somehow.
