SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Range: Designed with part of the power and effectiveness of the ancient Farkiller. The scope and its range is the only thing that remains in terms of power as the compensation is to make less dangerous shots.
  • Tripod: Telescopic rods designed to come out and support when in sniper mode to increase the weapons stability.
  • Autosteady gyro-gimbal: Designed to work with the weapon to recover from recoil with the shots.
STRENGTHS
  • Extreme Range: The weapons design is built around massive range and power with the ability to engage a target well out of range of most weapons while maintaining accuracy with a magnification attenuator and electromagnetic coils. The Nornfang is made to have the most extreme rangers of a star ship but its payload is largely for show as outside of 2 kilometers its damage potential decreases.
  • Force control: With the inth metal the weapon is made to be enhanced and connected to with the force. A skilled jedi sniper can curve and guide their shots to reach a target.
WEAKNESSES
  • Drop off: While designed with range in mind the drop off for impact is significant and decreases after two kilometers. At the maximum range the shots are little more then effectively bb's as the velocity has decreased exponentially.
  • Size and Maintenance: Designed for very specific jedi who show apitude with weapons but also the skills one needs to enter into the security branches of the jedi temple. The high cost of making it added with its size making it hard to conceal and only for snipers when they need to handle problems at a range.
  • Requires oxygen and power to fire.
DESCRIPTION
Designed for the jedi sniper branch of security forces, the robe and armor series of jedi equipment saw a lot of things being made. The technical division delved deep into jedi history and groups like the paladins whihc used blasters more to find the farkiller. A weapon that used lightsaber technology but was not a lightsaber rifle.. the distinction was important as lightsaber rifles were powerful and replicating them much harder to impossible. The farkiller though used the technology to improve the range of a sniper rifle to a range few weapons could hope to match. With that they had an idea and worked to reverse engineer from schematics and information the systems so that they could achieve maximum range but even with magnetic coils and acceleration as it increased in range it dropped down exponentially in its damage output potential. The tech division made it to function for the jedi snipers a rarely seen group within temple security to go with the brutes whom they crafted ursa powered armor.
