nostalgia with the kiddo

it had been four years now, four years of quite and alone time. he missed the company of the kid that had became a Jedi. in some ways he missed her, she was the kid he never had, but his duties made that hard to even think of settling down. if anything he was glad Sanya came along, in many ways she helped him as much as he helped her.

As he walked to the bar he usually went to he could see the young woman stood outside. his face lit up with a smile. approaching the woman he wrapped his arms around her hugging her. "Hey kiddo long time no see, ha ha ha." he stopped hugging her but leaving his hands on her shoulders. "wow how much you've gown, and changed." his eyes looked at her up and down.

"now come on let me buy you a drink" as he enter the bar he looked for an empty booth for them to sit at. as he spotted one close to the back he walked over sitting down.

Sanya had some free time away from her duties for a little while and she knew it had been a while since she'd seen taneas. it was getting on in the day now and it wouldn't be long till he'd set off to the bar to relax. she decided to surprise him and wait outside the one he'd usually go too.

if anything it was only a thirty minute walk away from the apartment she had been given by the Jedi, although it was a noisy area with how high up she was it didn't make a different it still remained quite, quite enough to meditate for long periods at a time.

as she reached the bar it was only moment before she was getting queezed into a hug, but after all this time she expected nothing less. "hello taneas," she giggled "and yes too long of a time." it brought a smile on her face to finally see him again. she watched him look up and down at her commenting one her appearance. if anything though she didn't really see any noticeable change. she hadn't grown much since then but her body had developed more showing more curves and other things.

she followed him inside contemplating what to talk about as so much has happend both good and bad. she knee it would be good to start with the more positive stuff but there was still so much to talk about.

"so how have things been going? you know been a Jedi and all" he wasn't sure where to start and not much has happened in his own life as of late other than the normal routine. wake up, tinker and drink.

if anything he was one for simplicity but needed a challenge, something that he also missed. after all raising a troubled kid was no easy job but wouldn't change any of it. the bar tenders knew taneas well and already had sent over a tripple shot whiskey and beer. he slid one over to Sanya. "drink up." it wasn't often a smile would show on his face but this occasion was an exception.

Sanya smiled at him "well it's going good, in a year I already made Knight Hood and I found out my specialty." her smile turned into a grin "I'm a healer, and that's not the best part I have my own ship now. your welcome to come with me on a trip some time, I'm sure the Jedi wouldn't mind." from been young the both of them had a thing from ships most of it was because of taneas.

as the waitress placed the drinks on the table taneas slid over one of the beers. he'd always been heavy handed and almost sent the drink over the edge, with the force she caught the glass bottle and bringing it to her hand. "thank you" she giggled "you know what I think this is our first drink together."
