Theseus was not pleased. Which was not necessarily an uncommon experience for him. The galaxy was a very displeasing environment. Theseus could not exactly say he knew that better then most people. Though sometimes he felt that way. Which was something he'd come to accept. Theseus had to be honest to himself. When he felt that he'd be going on a man hunt. He didn't entirely expect what or who he'd end up hunting. Turns out his ex-master had been up to some work, and Theseus intended to disband it. As the scum of a Jedi mentor, was far from good hearted, even if the man was of the light side Theseus felt he had no values. Therefore any work the man did was worthy of being destroyed. Which included the acquisition of a new apprentice. Theseus wouldn't tolerate the corruption of a kid by the hand's of that man, and Theseus would prefer to have to kill the pupil, then to see it bare the same pain that Theseus had felt.
Which means that Theseus needed to find the kid. Which meant disrupting the network his master was affiliated with. If not completely destroying it, and that meant more people would have to die, and some of them Theseus knew. Though because Theseus was kind hearted he'd give most people a chance. What was the Jedi council thinking assigning his ex-mentor a new apprentice? Wouldn't Theseus be enough proof to show that the man was a horrible teacher and deserved to be exiled. Maybe the exile was a little too much to ask for. Though Theseus could dream big he supposed. He wasn't even sure why he was worried about the affairs of the jedi still. He was affiliated with the sith now, and was happy to stay there. Particularly that of The Rising Sun. A religious group whom though Theseus admitted he couldn't use the word 'trusted' he certainly respected, and had become fond of them.
Theseus would need his allies for this task. Any who would offer there aid. If only for a little bit as Theseus would be uncovering a small time, and nameless syndicate affiliated with his master. If Theseus and his allies played there cards right this could not only save the padawan the headache of being betrayed (even if it was through death), it would strike a blow to a madman who was a liability. That and if the syndicate was shattered enough it would need someone to turn to, and could prove to be a useful ally. Heck, Joe, Theseus' informant had roots there. So, Theseus already had a card up his sleeve.
