Note: Perception and Standards of Conduct

If you're about to deny something from someone who's known to dislike you, or from someone whom you're known to dislike, either PM it to me or Libby so we can handle it or make dang sure you approve something else of theirs around the same time. For example, Mark's publicly known to have issues with all three company judges -- so please hand it off to a staffer when he comes knocking, along with your recommended verdict.

It shouldn't matter whether or not you're actually biased, because all it comes down to is their perception.

If they're going to say 'they don't like me', they probably believe it, and there's little you can actually do about that.

Sarge is right. It's totally irrelevant whether or not you can judge their subs in an unbiased manner. Avoid the appearance of bias or even the perception of bias by people who love to find ammunition.
