  Specimen 247 was stolen from a kainite lab by the Jedi infiltrating the facility and brought into their custody. Renamed Nouqai Veil, the girl was brought up with the Jedi dogma and spent years in the temple on coruscant. Her closest friend, a foundling, Balun Vale.
  
  At 14, she was sent on a mission to Myrkr, where she encountered sith, the desperation to survive triggering her dark side to surface. Fortunately, she was saved by a wookie knight, Grrwunhoool Agabury. Through the traumatic incident, she passed the trial of flesh.
  
  The council saw fit that Nouqai was assigned to the wookie knight for apprenticeship. The padawan spent 3.5 years with Grrwunhoool. Nouqai had passed 3 other trials during the time. However, despite many attempts, she could not pass the trial of spirit.
  
  Frustrated, she abandoned hope and split from her master. Finding her way to one Malum of House Marr. Enticed by his his kindness and generosity, Nouqai took on a new apprenticeship. This time, on the path of darkness where she would seek to reach her potential.
