Viridi Green is effectively what you get when you mix benevolence with the desire for profit. Cheap food, habitable worlds, and a variety of livestock and guard beasts are all available to those willing to pay for it. However, most of the profit that Viridi Green earns is from national or corporate buyers wanting terraformed planets for colonization or exploitation. Such an exploit makes Viridi Green a small fortune for even a small moon and incredible amounts of credits for full planets.
RATIONALE
What happens when the last good CEO of a company dissapears? Greed takes over and inevitably runs the company into the ground, which is what happened with Viridi Green. Myra watched with eager anticipation as the company slowly crashed, until she jumped in at the last minute, buying stocks off people jumping ship and buying the assets of the company, inevitably taking control. It is then that Nova-Viridi Green was born under the ownership of Myra and Alpha Corp. Not nearly as large as it had once been, but still doing what it always had with a little extra for Myra's private experiments.
