Katttada, the newest temple for the Order of the Silver Jedi, and the headquarters of the refurbished Exploration Corps. Coren Starchaser, leader of this temple, had always had an interest in the ExplorCorps of old. His father had worked with one such group when he was in a defunct Jedi Order, and Coren had found himself working with the Levantine Sanctum’s Frontiers Corp, a sort of Jedi rehab program from his past. With the Outer Rim/Outer Planets group, he was an explorer as soon as the war died down.
Now it was time to ring his roots to the forefront. The Temple was set up to run off of renewable and natural resources, solar, wind, tidal powers, but was also designed to be a much more inclusive temple. Many were coming here, from all walks, scientists, pilots, adventurers, those seeking knowledge, those seeking treasure, Jedi and Forcers, and those who cannot touch the Force alike.
A landing pad set up within the Temple and one out the main section of the island were accepting numbers crafts, and moving others to a waiting zone, as aside from the Jedi Starfighter Corp hangar in the Temple, only a limited number of landing/launching zones, while ships would get moved to temporary berths. As people were arriving, they’d be greeted by a few of the lower level Knights who opted to call Kattada home, and escorted to the Temple. At the temple, should they choose to, there was a choice for a guided tour by the Temple Padawans, but the majority of people were favoring the live tests of some of the temple’s equipment.
Two different parties were being set up, one for a terrestrial ‘mission,’ there was a largely unexplored island, with ruins on it. Coren Starchaser himself was going to lead those interested in the trip out to the island, to display some of the terrestrial offerings of the ExplorCorps and a hands-on approach to those wayfinders more interested in landing and sampling a world.
Meanwhile, the second party was for the spacers and explorers. Kaia Starchaser, with her father’s assistance, has a short trip to display the offerings and capability of the ExplorCorps for the space faring explorers.
OOC: Take a post to explore the Temple if you would like. Or use some time to meet and greet with those going in either Group A (to the Island) or Group B (space!). The focus of the thread is to have some fun, and expand on techniques for explorers, both NFU and Force Sensitive. The goal is to have it informative while also being explorers!
