npc`s

Out curiosity how much will you let npcs, do to your character?

Me I don't mind them injuring my characters, if feel it is appropriate. Though we should remember most npc's you would meet, are fully trained soldiers on battlefield.

A large group of NPC's will turn me away from an area with a few injuries. Though, I will call you on it if your a new padawan coming at me with a battalion. (As for me owning NPC's I generally only have one. Ace(despite popular belief he is now killable[which his why he now avoids combat].)

NPCs....are my chew toys....I use them to allow my mind to come up with all manners of disposing of them....unless of course I'm feeling generous and let them hurt my character...but mostly....chew toys. :)

It depends on how well they are written and how actively they are written. If both of those are met, an npc force can send Rev packing like a donkey chasing coyote out of the pin. Otherwise, it's meat grinding time.

I have to call out and commend [member="sabrina"] for her role in the invasion. She was a good sport and when her character boarded one of my ships she took hits from the NPC soldiers guarding it.
She didn't have to, though it was logical in the circumstances, so I compliment her on being very fair. :)

[member="Valiens Nantaris"] harley is barely trained so it was logical that she would take hits, and bayonet to her back was quite painful

[member="Jorus Merrill"] I would only disagree with part of your saying, on the ground each person ability to write is different. So as long as they put effort in, then I would say they should be treated with came respect as the better writers. Though I may be in minority on that, it is the way I feel.

As [member="Reverance"] said, although I have also written enemy NPCs that have injured Silara before (See: Empress Teta). Generally it is fluff for posts when there's nobody to talk/flirt/fight with.

Depends really, i don't give them the respect i give a PC but i am not going to go about wasting someones named NPCs like they are mere fodder. All in all it really depends, 500 troopers focus firing at me and im gonedy 500.
