First created as a secret Imperial battlestation during the Palpatine Era, a asteroid that was converted by Project Doom. Equipped with a droid control center and able to carry and command a very large number of battle droids. Though it is at first glance a terrifying example of min/maxing, this is tempered by a critical design flaw traditionally inherent in Palpatine Era projects as well as a visibly obvious flaw in the choice of a single shield projector. Likewise though the ship is equipped with a hyperdrive, it is far too heavy for sublight engines to move.
The craft is extremely massive, and despite huge thrusters, turns very slowly. It is however, extremely resistant to attack, with the ship's most vulnerable parts buried deep inside the asteroid. The exterior resembles an armoured warship hull, with an equatorial trench containing hangars and attitude thrusters which are capable of keeping the vessel in place or turning. The massive shield projector sits where a superlaser would on a DS-1. The main reactor is huge, and requires large exhaust tunnels to vent to the surface. These vent tubes lead directly from the surface to the primary reactor.
The ship is covered in sensors, and weapons, with outstanding range and firepower. It can sustain heavy fire while delivering a massive direct assault with its own guns, strike craft, and battle droids. Any nearby disabled ships can be assaulted by hordes of droids from the vacuum of space or from assault craft. Any infantry assault on the ship would be opposed by layered defences and wave after wave of battle droids. Multiple large hangars can deploy dozens of squadrons of craft, and the legions of battle droids are arrayed throughout the interior of the ship, ready to repel assaults, or make them.
The ship is operated by a wealth of maintenance and custodial droids, and crew droids performing the simple tasks, allowing for a large degree of direct control to the Captain.
However. Though it is a formidable warship, it currently operates as a trading station.
The wreck was bought at auction by a rogue trader from Alula. He refitted the vessel as a mobile trading station, dubbed it the Nostril of Palpatine, and grew very wealthy by providing a safe local trade station able to work in any sector of the galaxy. Freighters can come and go from the multiple large hangars, and do their trading in the trade hubs. A small transient population lives and works in the market and entertainment zones.
The boss runs a lawful trade post, and retains personal control of all the battle droids. It is a very safe place to trade, so long as you don't cross the Boss. He has expended much of his vast personal wealth on fitting out his personal pleasure palace, and did not scrimp on security.
