Kalzok
Dark Thaumaturge, Loremaster of the Sith
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The Null Legion was formed from the survivors of the past decade of calamities that had befallen the Sith Empire; specifically, the Sith Legionaries assigned to the reserve, almost symbolic legions that were given to the old Kissai Priests and even the Union of Keepers of Sith Lore and the Dark Arts (one of the Sith Empire's many unofficial Loremaster organisations). As the Empire fell from strife and invasion, these scattered second-line reserve troops were forced to work closely with the surviving Loremasters of the Empire, becoming well-versed in close protection, guerilla warfare, and suppression of enemy Force users. These scattered groups would be rallied by Lord Kalzok, one of the last Loremasters of the Empire, and reformed into the Null Legion, sworn to the Lorekeepers of the Tsis'Kaar and under Kalzok's supervision. Since then, the Null Legion has increased its numbers, and begun to take on an active role in capturing artifacts and anomalies for the Lorekeepers to preserve and study, all with the aim of assisting in the Tsis'Kaar ultimate goal.

- Combat Function: The Null Legion act as infantry and bodyguards for the Tsis'Kal Lorekeepers. In combat their functions vary from light to heavy infantry, with an eye towards neutralisation of threats that may target their Lorekeepers. In order to help guard the vaults of the Lorekeepers, combat droids are used extensively as patrol and guards to bolster the required numbers.
- Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): Force-sensitive, non-Sith commanders of the Legion might be trained to understand and tap into some basic force abilities but nothing on the level of most Sith.
- Loyal unto death: The Null Legion is sworn to the Lorekeepers and the Lorekeepers only. There are few who would volunteer, or be chosen, for service to the Sith Order, especially in such trying times. Should any threat to their being come from within or outside what remains of the Sith Order, the Null Legion will fight tooth and nail to defend the keepers of the lost arts of the Sith.
- A certain set(s) of skills: Despite their limited and generic role on paper, the leadership core of the Null Legion comes from the survivors of decades of battle, giving the Null Legion a surprising depth and flexibility of skill and operation that can continue to be multiplied, through teaching the growing numbers of recruits.
- Few among us: For their designation and role, the Null Legion are few in number, and they cannot afford to deploy in large combat formations until they have bolstered their numbers.
- Softskin: The Legion has access to little armoured or air support, which prevents it from fully deploying as a proper Legion in the field for open combat.
