In an instant, the Longinus spear wielded by Mand'alor the Infernal was shattered by the raw fury of the Dark Lord of the Sith.
Splintered into a thousand pieces, the weapon which had been at the Infernal's side since her ascension to the mantle of Mand'alore was strewn about the ruined Sundari Palace. Though the Infernal herself would soon perish thanks to the injuries inflicted upon her body, the legacy of her weapon would live on. Dark Lord Carnifex scoured the Sundari ruins in the aftermath of the Siege, collecting what bits of the Longinus spear he could find.
He brought them back to Dromund Kaas, and there he set about reforging the broken weapon into a new and terrible form. Into this weapon, he imbued his fury, his anger, and his insatiable desire to dominate all the galaxy.
On one end was an ax-head forged from the broken Beskar shards of the Longinus spear, and on the other was a concussion prod that could discharge supersonic waves upon physical contact. These waves were incredibly violent, pushing their targets back and overloading their nervous systems. The shockwaves from these blasts could also cause cardiac arrest, seizures, respiratory failure, severe electrical burns, cataracts, and even bone fractures.
Nestled behind the ax-head was a lightsaber emitter that could produce a single crimson blade of average length, generated by internal components found in the typical lightsaber. The power source for this blade was a single kyber crystal acquired from the weapon of a Jedi Master slain by the Dark Lord's hand, bled in a ceremony in which he suffused the crystal with the Dark Side of the Force.
Upon the weapon's completion, he presented it to his sixth wife, Gunnr, and declared the eternity of their union with the consecration of her new weapon.
