Nyos' Redemtion

[Nyos Val]

*Prelude*
Nyos awoke on a research vessel traveling to the Outer Rim to help with refugees who've lost limbs from raiders, pirates or the cartel. The ship is owned by a corporation back on Coruscant, captained by an ex-military pilot. Nyos was given cyber-prostetics of the highest quality, he was told his limbs were constructed from a Songsteel compund. His right eye can zoom in 10x and has better than normal nightvision. Nyos' right arm is made of a denser alloy and has increased strength. The left leg is made of the same dense alloy like his arm. The vessel was called Forgiven. Named for those the company helped; ex-pirates, renegades, theives and heretics. Forgiven was on its way to Bespin where a Cargo vessel had docked after it was attacked by pirates. The ship suffered five casualties, and twelve injuries. Captain Valero docked the ship and instructed the security officers to bring Nyos out with the specialists but off to the side. Nyos watched the horrer on the faces of the survivors as the teams from Forgiven began their work. Men and woman crying for the dead and for their own injuries. Nyos struggled behind his bandaged face not to shed a tear. A woman came up to him, tears in her eyes and asked him if he was a patient of the Forgiven, he said he was and what was replaced, the woman smiled and hugged Nyos. The chief medical officer; Mrs. Annette Fel came to Nyos to check on his prostetics and how they were healing, she instructed Nyos to come to the center of the group. Dr. Fel showed Nyos to the patients as a symbol of good faith to the people that they would/could/can help them get back to their lives. A few of the security officers laughed as Nyos attemped to show strength through his injuries and fell to his knees from the medicine he was on. Nyos laughed at himself, he was happy for the first time.

Nyos walked out of the meeting with a few things on his mind. The big details of Omega, he would leave to his superiors. For himself, his task was simple, find the ones responsible for making him the freak he'd become.
Nyos jumped onto his speeder and took off for the spaceport. Nyos had requisitioned transport to Bespin from a friend he'd made in Omega. Kolin was just a shuttle mechanic, but had pulled a few favors to let Nyos take a shuttle for his trip. Nyos plotted the course for Bespin, Kolin came in to wish him luck and give him a few supplies. Nyos laughed as he shut the door behind Kolin. Nyos needed a friend for this. He punched it to full speed to break orbit. Nyos docked in the cargo bay of a trade ship headed for Isis. Nyos and Kolin waited inside the shuttle until the trader arrived at the Isis system. Nyos fired up the shuttle and left the trader for Bespin.

Nyos was granted permission to dock on the northern part of Cloud City. Kolin stayed with the shuttle, while Nyos went and looked for an old friend from his last visit. She was working when he strolled up behind her at tapped her shoulder. She turned shocked and happy at the same time. Melia hugged Nyos with a little too much of her might. Her entire left arm was replaced with cybernetics. Nyos and Melia caught up for a bit, then he asked her about the ship he had come on his last time here. She told him the ship was last seen in system. Apparently it was supposed to come back to Bespin to refuel and resupply.

Nyos waited on the landing pad for the Forgiven to land. He saw new faces, and a few old ones. Captain Valero walked out first but he didn't seem as surprised to see Nyos as some of the others were. Nyos walked up and shook his hand, there was hesitation in the captains reaction to Nyos' outstretched hand. Melia came up behind Nyos and smiled at the captain. Dr. Fel walked out with her eyes glued to a datapad and almost bumped into Nyos before the captain made her aware. Dr. Fel dropped her datapad in surprise, her eyes instantly filled with fear. Nyos became extremely suspicious all of the sudden. He pulled Melia behind himself and took a defensive stance as a few of the guards started towards him aggressively.

Nyos dove for cover as the guards opened fire on him. He rolled behind some barrels. The entire landing pad erupted with blaster fire as the Bespin security fired back at the ships guards. Miles watched as the unprepared security was cut down easily by the well trained guards. Miles scrambled for a nearby gun. He was able to grab an assault blaster and get to cover with minor blaster grazes. Melia was stuck behind some crates, screaming as the guards closed in on her position. Nyos jumped up and fired as he ran towards Melia. He took out the nearest guard with a shot to the chest, and then another in the face. Captain Valeros ran back to the ship as more guards exited. The ships engines began to fire up as Nyos charged the guards, firing like a maniac and hitting any guards that got close. Nyos made a final leap off his cybernetic leg and flew through the hatch just before it closed.
