Personality:
Nyva is gentle and compassionate, but her status as a slave often makes her hesitant and shy. She aspires to learn and improve but lives in fear of Lyssara's anger. Despite the harshness of her environment, she holds onto a glimmer of hope for a better future and dreams of being able to heal those who suffer, including herself.

Strengths:

  • Medical Skills: Nyva is trained in healing, capable of using Force techniques and traditional medicine knowledge to treat wounds and illnesses. She always carries a medkit and ready-to-use syringes.
  • Average Mechanic: During her captivity, she had to learn a new trade to find a secondary role and be as useful as she could. Nyva knows how to maintain and repair a damaged ship with the right tools and resources. She can fix a malfunctioning hyperdrive, a damaged turret, or specific connections. However, she is not as quick as a professional, so it will take her a bit longer. In essence, she replaces the role of an onboard droid.
  • Empathy: Her ability to sense others' emotions helps her understand their pain and needs, making her an intuitive healer. She knows when her Mistress is angry and when to keep a low profile.
  • Agility: She is agile and very flexible due to her species, allowing her to move quickly and intervene effectively in emergencies.
  • Force Usage: She possesses an innate sensitivity to the Force, enabling her to channel healing powers, neutralize poisons, purify areas, and provide Force cures. She can also use a Force shield for protection and can heal physical and mental wounds.
  • Ranged Weapon Mastery: She is not suited for close combat but knows how to handle ranged weapons and can use the ship's artillery, a rocket launcher, or a sniper rifle to assist her companion from a distance. She can use a simple blaster too letal or stases mode for assist.

Weaknesses:

She has basic knowledge of rudimentary martial arts, but it does not go much further. Any experienced fighter could neutralize her if she is not careful with her positioning.
  • Dependence on Approval: Her desperate need for Lyssara's approval may lead her to make risky choices to prove her worth, sometimes to her own detriment.
  • Bound by Oath: She cannot do anything without direct permission from her superior, which tends to frustrate her greatly. Gradually, she will embrace the Sith path in her own way, reinforcing her blind faith in her Mistress.
  • She depressed when she does not have the recognition of her mistress and she speak with ADA for help her. She can drunk sometime. in times when she is drunk, she cannot use the force properly. So she using tradtionnal healing method.
Acquisition Context:
Nyva was captured and sold as a slave in a shop on Dromund Kaas, an iconic planet of the dark side. Lyssara Thrynn, in her search for a healer to assist her in her missions, acquired her, seeing potential that could be exploited. Lyssara imposed a role of healer aboard her ship, but their relationship is marked by an abusive power dynamic, with Nyva often subjected to humiliation and harsh demands. Lyssara thinks of a way to start displaying her power. She needs a crew worthy of the name if she wants to have any chance of survival in the galaxy.

History:
Nyva Shei was born on the planet Mirial, known for its lush landscapes and spiritual traditions. Her family was part of a community where harmony, healing, and connection to the Force were deeply rooted in the culture. Mirialans teach from a young age the importance of empathy, compassion, and respect for others. Nyva grew up surrounded by healing rituals and martial arts, learning to use the Force to help those in need and treat injuries with natural remedies.

Nyva was a curious and playful child, always eager to help her family and friends. She spent her days exploring the lush forests of Mirial, gathering medicinal plants, and listening to the stories of the elders about the wise healers who had shaped their history. These tales fueled her dream of becoming a recognized healer, capable of healing and providing comfort to those in need.

The Raid and Capture:
Nyva's peaceful life was shattered one fateful day when bandits invaded her hometown. Seeking to plunder resources and capture slaves, they attacked mercilessly. Nyva, then 12 years old, watched in terror as her village was destroyed. She remembers the cries of her people and the smoke rising into the sky as her world crumbled around her. Despite the bravery of some villagers who tried to defend their community, the invaders' strength was too great.

In the chaos, Nyva was separated from her family and captured by the bandits. Imprisoned with other children, she endured days of anguish and uncertainty, fearing she would be sold or mistreated. She would never know that her village had been completely burned and that her loved ones had been massacred in the attack. In her mind, a fleeting hope remains that they are simply lost and that she will one day find them, unaware of the terrible truth of her fate.

After a long journey across the galaxy, she was sold as a slave in a slave market on a Sith planet, losing everything she knew and loved. But she gain an other way to wait in the cold stand.

Like the ship, she hasn't bought it yet, but it will come soon enough.
