Moff of the Mon Calamari Sector
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
The All Terrain Storm Walker is the next in N&Z's walker lineup being the 'medium' walker to its compatriot the All Terrain Assault Walker which is considered a 'light' walker. The AT-SW is meant to back up the vanguard units of an armored unit giving heavier, more devastating blows than the vanguard. It also doubles as a light troop transport, carrying 2 squads of soldiers in the back.
The N&Z Storm Walker is an assault walker, and having all of its weaponry facing forward emphasizes this point. Its primary weapon, the NZ Turbolasers can deal consistent damage to targets forward, allowing it to back up its vanguard. The secondary FAE beam cannons give the unit versatility being able to switch from being masers to cryogenic to anything a situation requires. Additionally, the Storm Walker has a turret housing two NZ laser cannons that can rotate one-hundred and eighty degrees covering most of the walker's front.
The Storm Walker also has a few high-tech additions that make it viable in today's ground-vehicle market. The FAE Dream Sight Combat Sensor System Mk. II gives the unit unprecedented situational awareness coupled with the Reactive Targeting Matrix of the same brand means this unit is a powerhouse for tracking and delivering payloads. Additionally, the FAE Inclusive Countermeasure Unit gives the unit another layer of protection from incoming warheads. However, the SSP-SIXTUS-A is what protects this unit the most effectively, other than the armor, granting a sextuple-layered shield. It is also one of the newest items in the N&Z catalog to use the brand-new C.H.A.R.M. 01 reactor giving it clean, efficient energy.
The All Terrain Storm Walker is another great addition to the N&Z walker lineup, thanks to its comprehensive armor and weapon loadouts, advanced tech, and troop-carrying ability.

- The AT-SW is able to hold two squads of troopers in the rear of the walker. They can deploy via a rear hatch and rappel down.
- The AT-SW is equipped with a comprehensive weapon loadout. Two, turbolaser cannons, beam cannons, laser cannons, and two missile launchers allow this walker to handle many problems.
- Combat Carrier: The AT-SW can carry troops into battle and deploy them safely with a smokescreen.
- Well-Armored Hull: The Hull area of this walker is well-protected with an enhanced composite armor layout.
- Combat Versatility: The hybrid beam cannons and the NZ laser cannons give this unit a host of versatility. The beam cannons offer different fire modes to deal with different situations and the NZ laser cannons have their patented five-bolt burst for extreme bursts of damage and a single-shot mode for even better accuracy. The NZ turbolasers give it a heavy weapon to deal with heavier armored targets.
- Rear Vulnerability: While the font of this unit is well-armed and well-protected, the rear itself is quite bare. There is a hatch in that can be opened and the squad inside can fire out the back.
- Deployment Vulnerability: When using the smoke screen to deploy soldiers from the rear hatch, the walker has to stop moving in its entirety. This allows hostiles to fire at the Storm Walker.
