STRENGTHS

  • Preservation of goods: Thanks to the built in stasis field generator, the NZ Cargo-SFC can boast a much better preservation of goods. Allowing these containers to ship volatile material under the best possible circumstances, brittle material, easily spoiled material, it is all possible with these containers. The added plating and carbonite coating also helps in regulating the temperature, allowing the droid brain installed in each container to have a much easier time.
  • Automated system: Each container comes with a Proton mk I auxiliary droid brain, which functions as the container's regulator, keeping the temperature and pressure stable within the confines of the object, adjusting the parameters within the container to the parameters outside.
  • Universally aligned: These containers have been meassured and built to the galactic standard of shipping containers for each of the size categories, meaning most freighters, if not all that are designed to haul cargo in the form of containers is capable of working with these containers.
WEAKNESSES
  • Overweight: As can be expected when so much is packed into a single object, the weight of the NZ Cargo-SFC in any of its available sizes will always be higher than that of its direct comparisons due to the added weight in the form of sensors, hydraulic locks and the heavy frame.
  • EMP: Due to the heavy automisation and the multitude of systems within these containers, EMP may fry the electrical system or force it to reboot, which may ruin the goods within, but would also make them inaccessible as the hydraulic locks would seize without the input of the proton droid brain.
DESCRIPTION
As part of the search for more useful pieces of technology within the company's catalogue, the engineering team behind some of N&Z's most intelligently designed offerings have managed to bring forth another masterpiece in the form of the NZ Cargo-SFC. The goal was to create new containers for an upcoming update to the company's entire line up of industrially inclined vehicles and ships, but also to provide a variety of prospective clients with a means to safely and securely transport items, raw materials and other things in the comfort of knowing that whatever they want to transport will reach its destination safely and intact.

They can haul anything from small objects to extremely large quantities of material around in all safety. They are capable of withstanding the pressure of practically any planet or celestial body, are capable of being pushed or pulled into hyperspace without much risk and can take a beating in the form of blasterfire and kinetic projectiles to a certain degree. Pleased with the result of these containers, the N&Z Umbrella Corporation has already put them into action within their own sphere of influence, utilizing them for the transport of many of their own raw materials and goods, as well as utilizing them to fine tune the calibration of their upcoming new freighter and transport ship line-up.
