SPECIAL FEATURES
- Collapseable: While the NZ CPA-ExM isn't in use, the blade and stock can be made more easy for transportation and carrying by effectively collapsing both the blade and the stock onto eachother, allowing for the weapon to be only a third in length compared to when it is being used.
- Simple mechanics: Without much of anything in terms of electronics bar the miniature reactor to properly regulate the energy along the edge of the weapon, repairs and ease of use are guaranteed for anyone wielding this weapon.
- Robust design: With enough safety features, utilizing top notch materials in its class, this weapon can handle quite the heavy use.
- Plasmacutter on steroids: Having an edge lined with superheated metal allows for quite the cutting and cleaving power which could be compared to a lightsaber.
- Heavy: This isn't a weapon for the unexperienced and certainly not for regular, untrained civilians due to its heft and somewhat unbalanced nature.
- Somewhat Unbalanced: Exactly as stated above, this is certainly not a weapon to be in unexperienced and untrained hands, as its unbalanced nature might actually result in selfharm and possible disastrous results.
The NZ CPA-ExM has its origin in the use of vibro axes and staffs throughout history, with the rise in apparent force users within the galaxy and the large spread of lightsabers, the N&Z Umbrella Corporation sought to allow non-force users to have access to something which could be just as lethal and impressive as a lightsaber when used in combat. Though at first the idea was indeed to design a vibro axe, eventually the thought came to implanting a miniature C.H.A.R.M. reactor and to have it allow for a controlled superheating of and axehead along the edge, creating in essence a plasmacutter of sorts, as due to the superheating of the metal, the edge of the weapon practically reached a superstate of plasma and as such would be capable of countering the general heat which gave lightsabers their incredible cutting ability.
By implating heat sinks and heat vents, the designers made sure to allow the weapon to be safer to use and more practical, as it would boast that any excess heat could be expelled and thus allow for the weapon to be carried and wielded without risking burning ones hands, arms or other libs just by holding the weapon as intended. The added feature of having the stock and edge be collapsable also aids in the safety and useability of this product, granting it an easy way of being stowed and/or carried when not in use.
