STRENGTHS
- Very high energy resistance: The LHA-1 type armor has all the materials necessary to hold up very well against blaster fire, making it a rather safe armor to wear in the majority of combat zones.
- Slew of good resistances: In addition to it's high resistance against energy based weaponry, this armor provides a good defense against kinetic attacks from slugs, lightsaber or lightsaber-like attacks, the elements and even acidic and corrosive attacks.
- Decked out: This armor is decked out with all sorts of communication methods, built in binoculars with infrared vision, night vision, thermal vision and even target confirmation through a built in HUD display. Holonet and even Datalink connections, a rebreather and enviro filter system to truly make this an armor to wear where no man has gone before.
- Weakness to lightning and electricity: There is virtually no protection against electrical attacks, even though it has average protection against general EMP, passing an actual electrical current through the armor may cause shortcircuiting of the systems and even hurt the wearer due to having no induction-materials.
- Very Heavy: This armor, while boasting about it's impressive defensive capacity is really heavy and thus not all that easy to move in.
Designed by the people responsible for the design of the LHEA used for the Valkan Guard, this armor is in theory inferior to the original LHEA Mk1 model, but due to it's more modern use of materials, this may be debated. However, because it was designed by the same people, it also incorporates most, if not all of the original LHEA's advantages and flaws in perhaps a slightly minor capacity in regards to the strengths of the armor. The LHA-1 was purposely designed to be used solely by the soldiers that would be protecting the Eriadu system and makes heavy use of the materials found and created within said system, allowing for ample raw material and production numbers, while being able to suppress the actual cost of the production by a large margin.
Decked out in standard form with built in binoculars and a heads up display with infrared, thermal and nightvision, accompanied with a rebreather and enviro filter system, the LHA-1 is an armor where it is obvious that quality was taken in high regards compared to quantity, allowing for those who would be wearing this armor to be prepared for most plausible and possible situations and locations of combat.
