- Primary Source: N/A
- Manufacturer: Nargath Holdings
- Affiliation: Closed Market
- Model: NZ MVD-1
- Modularity: No
- Production: Mass Produced
- Material: Electronic code, internal sensors, digits, programming code, scannerpack. Holonet transeiver
- Through various sensors built in any armor or suit this has been installed in, this small device may let the user know about their own physical condition and which meassures should be taken to prevent further deterioration or to improve one's own medical situation.
- Can be connected to any datapad for recovery data or for investigation purposes in regards to suffered wounds and other afflictions.
- Includes both a led display usually on one of the forearms and a HUD either around the arm or projected within any connected helmet with HUD proficiency.
- This MedPac Display covers one's heartrate, surrounding decibels of noise, atmospheric presure and composition, material analysis through built in scanners, full physical diagnostics of self or others through scanning.
- Easy to wear: which given that it weighs almost nothing and consists mainly out of small electronics is never a cumbersome item to bring along.
- Extensive use: As this MedPac can be used to either administer care to others, check up on one's own physical status and can transmit any data through comlink, holonet and datapad, this small device has great use in the field, especially for army doctors and medics who need to keep up to date about people's conditions, but also for oneself in the field to know wheter or not any sustained wounds are greavous or not.
- Fragile electronics: As this device isn't meant to be armored in itself, it can be easily damaged by weapons or severe trauma, though the electronic data will still be accessible through other means such as linking up to a datacore or datapad.
- EMP: Like practically all electronic devices, EMP is the bane of its existence by far.
In order to alleviate the stress and the workload of medics on site or to make sure that soldiers, mercenaries and warriors in general are certain not to overexert themselves without a cause, NZ ordered its Nargath Holdings' subsidiary to come up with a small, but useful device which could aid in keeping checks on someone's condition. Originally the idea was to make it fully integrated into a standard production armor, but the more profitable design won out in the end, with it having a single wristmounted piece connected to various sensors and scanners which can be placed into any armor of the customer's choice, thus allowing for it to be used even with armors of other companies and completely different mock up or design. The Medpack display can be used either through HUD or through the wristmounted LED display, it can connect to any datapad, datacore and the information acquired through it can be transmitted to field medics or other medical personnel.
As it monitors a person's heartrate, bloodpressure, overall physique, hormone levels and more, this device is essential to any of those who wish to survive the harshness of reality, the bitterness of combat and the danger of missing a physical check up with your local phycisian.
