- Carbonite coating of the gun lowers overall heat signature and lowers risk of detection.
- Fully automatic display, automatic firing mechanism.
- Pump action ejection system.
- Very powerful blasts: As it IS an assault rifle, as long as it is not on the automatic firing setting, this rifle's shots are able to rip through reinforced durasteel plating of up to half an inch thick with relative ease.
- As the rifle has a comfortable, albeit maybe a bit bulky size, it is rather easy to be carried in battle upon a soldier's back or with two hands in combat.
- Carbonite coating makes this a useful assault weapon for surprise tactics as it effectively lowers the heatsignature of the rifle while firing.
- Wishy washy: Albeit a useful gun in manual modus, when automatic setting is engaged, it'll burn through its ammunition pretty fast and will sacrifice both range and overall power.
- Heavy: though it is portable by healthy adults, it's weight does not make it ideal for the untrained populace, lessening its use in the less professional circuits.
- The heavy recoil of the gun in manual setting makes it pretty tough to shoot accurately in succession with this gun unless properly trained.
Designed as a simple, effective gun for assault troops, the NZ-PBR.445 was chosen as the design because of its simple meassurements, easily exchangeable parts and relatively low manufacturing costs. Though it was designed by Nargath Holdings, it is assembled using parts made from various sites within the N&Z Umbrella parent company, effectively lowering costs, while expanding the reach for possible clientele.
In combat trials, the NZ-PRB.445 has proven to be an immensely powerful blaster with a serious kick in its recoil, but nonetheless effective as an assault rifle for tactical forces and general ground forces. Though it has alow firing rate and it's reload time is slightly higher than average, it's range is quite good and allows for surprising tactical offenses thanks to the heat resistant carbonite effectively lowering the gun's heatsignature on any sensor.
