STRENGTHS

• Can Translate nearly a million languages in its standard configuration witt practically no delay into other languages it knows, making it one of the most fluid translation modules known in the galaxy.
• Has an extensive language library which contains not only most, if not all of the more common spoken languages, but also has an extensive library of less known dialects and localized languages
• Can be used as a voice recognition software thanks to the combination of the bio-hexacrypt module and the proton droid brain, making it possible to lock out people from sensitive information like secret languages or access to certain functions.
• Due to its language database, the voice recognition is not hampered by translation or recognition of the spoken language by the user itself.
• Can be updated and programmed to learn, store or identify languages not within its database.
• Small enough to be installed in almost any electronic device.

WEAKNESSES

• On its own, a lot of the parts, bar the proton droid brain do not do well when subjected to EMP or ION residue, effectively locking out not just other people, but also the user from the module's functions.
• Extremely hard to repair - due to the miniaturized components, fixing and/or repairing the module when something has gone amiss is a fiddly practice best left to the professionals.
• Overheating: this is a deathsentence for this module, as due to its miniaturized core and parts, too much heat could essentially fuse parts together and make a mess that can't be fixed at all.
• Reprogramming and updating of the information can only be done with compatable technology [I.E. any technology that can work with the PRoton MKI, so no gabonna crystal based droids or droid brains]

DESCRIPTION
With the ever changing needs of customers and the constant changes within the industry, it came as no surprise that when there was word of some clients desiring the convenience of a seemless translation module and others desiring a way to utilize one's own voice as a lockout mechanism for things such as vaults, vehicles and even weaponry, the fact these two things could be considered interchangeable brought the N&Z to the idea of combining a voice recognition module and a translator module into one single design, one singular package that could provide both services at once.

To accomplish this goal, the tried and tested Proton MkI was used, miniaturized and crammed to the brim with useable language data and a sequential, self adjusting bio-hexacrypt security and safety system which would add a layer of security beyond the limited compatibility of the Proton MkI, which would give anyone utilizing this module the feeling of safety and security they'd desire given the high likelyhood of these modules being used either for sensitive purposes or private ends such is the case with for instance protocol droids and military hardware which may utilize this sort of technology.

Due to its size, it can also be added onto voice boxes and voice modulators to provide instant translation services for the various species who either do not have the standard vocalization capacity or for those who have suffered damage to their vocal chords or means of oral communication.
