STRENGTHS

• Superb synchronised movement: These droids work best in larger groups, having extremely synchronized movement for moral effect and psychological warfare as part of their shocktrooper status.
• Heavy Infantry: built out of a combination of heavy and light materials which all have the same common goal: structural integrity in the face of enemy firepower. this allows them to tank more enemy fire compared to general combat droids, though still significantly less compared to tanks or armored heavy droids.
• Moral impact: Combined with the straight up impecable synchronisation of their movement, the individual droid also needs to have an imposing air, this is aided by their nominal size and outward design, making a whole lot of these seem all the more impressive.
• Strong adaptability and learning capacity, allowing for very good communication of orders accross the chain of command thanks to their large processing power.

WEAKNESSES

• Heavy Infantry taken literally: These individual units are rather heavy, making them count in size and weight as the equivalent of two soldiers, lowering the number of these any normal transport can carry compared to smaller models or biological soldiers.
• Absolutely not stealthy: though it is part of their charm and their effectiveness, these droids are in normal circumstances not exactly build to be stealthy or subtle with their actions.

DESCRIPTION
With the renewing of the N&Z Corporation's droid line up, after the general droid model 'Ceres', the specialized tactical type 'Cogliostro' and the enforcement droid known under the moniker Arbalesk, the engineers of the company's EnSol division were tasked with the creation of a more heavy and more forward operating droid who by having a heavier and more durable frame would be capable of taking more hits and acting more as a vanguard, the speartip of a proper droid army.

The designs coming from EnSol did not disappoint, with the winning design taking cues from the Arbalesk, yet dehumanizing the overall shape and giving this new beast an allure of terror and sheer imposing stature to allow for a full battalion of these to be much more morally and emotionally damaging than the approach of an equivalently sized biological combat unit or standard droid based unit.

Decked out with a whole lot of electronic systems to stabilize it, make these droids less likely to be sliced and adding a great capacity to adaptability in the field and when operating under command, the ZMDIII ACD 'Mars' Type exemplifies the new strengths of the third generation droids with systems to improve its memory capacity, critical thinking, logic generation and tactical oversight. Though much less than the cogliostro models, the Mars-type does possess enough intelligence to be much more creative with orders and thus much more effective.

Thanks to utilizing a lot of materials and components that have been produced for quite some time and have been tried and tested in combat, but also optimized in production this droid type is more easily manufactured in somewhat larger numbers, but because of this, while easier to maintain, it is also easier for people to acknowledge and discover the weak spots, such as the overheating issues of the rotary canon it uses and the slightly lower mobility compared to the enforcer droids because of its heavier frame.
